Uddin's Misti — Restaurant in Châteauguay

if you are hindu, do not order from these guys. the owner brought us food once for a picnic during summer 2021, told me and another hindu person that they put beef curry sauce in the lamb biriyani and there is a piece of beef in there... this goes to show the unethical practices that goes on in the kitchen of this restaurant. this can be a joke to someone else but to a hindu person this is a clear demonstration of hatred against the hindus from the ownership of the restaurant... i was told it was the owner's brother who brought us the food. so surely he was not lying... i have no personal vendetta against these guys, i don't even know who they are to begin with... but greeted them positively knowing it is a bengali restaurant and all, and this is what i hear from the owner's own brother... at least i appreciate the truth he spoke at...

The first thing that hit me when coming in, the smell of cleanliness. Impulsively, I looked around to see where this pleasant fragrance was coming from: everywhere. The igiene is unquestionable. The server was charming, well mannered, bilingual and courteous. The food was the best part. 2 entries and 2 main course, and nothing was just “good”; it was all delicious. Seriously I was considering getting entries again for how good it was. Prices are very reasonable.

Since lal kella closed, we couldn’t find another Indian restaurant that we liked. I wasn’t aware of this restaurant, but now we’ll be going at least every month.

That’s how restaurants should be. Only praises from me and my wife. Please don’t do what other restaurants do and gradually lower your standards. You’re a little pearl in...

Due to a busy weekend, there was no food at home, and the kids were hungry. A quick call to Jewel Uddin at Uddin Misti turned the day around. The menu was flexible, and the food was exceptional. Highlights included the nostalgic Doi Lassi, flavorful Uddin Sunset mocktail, street-style Fuska, tasty fish and chicken pakoras, rich Naga Lamb with garlic cilantro naan, and a wedding-style roast polao. The entire meal brought back memories of Sylhet, London, and New York. The experience exceeded expectations, and the quality was excellent for the price—highly recommended for food lovers.
