The ChaatBar and Parontha Place — Restaurant in Chestermere

Today, we tried the Chole Bhature at The Chaat Bar & Parontha Place, and I must say—it was absolutely delicious!

Chole (Chickpeas): Perfectly cooked with a rich, flavorful gravy. The spices were well-balanced, giving a warm, homestyle taste with just the right amount of heat. The portion was generous, and every bite was comforting.

Bhature: Light, fluffy, and nicely puffed! Not greasy at all, which I really appreciated. They were fresh and hot—just how Bhature should be.

Sides: Served with tangy achar (pickle), sliced onions, and a small portion of raita—great for refreshing the palate between bites.

Ambience & Service: Clean seating area, fast service, and friendly staff made the whole experience better.

Tried the samosa's, and they were an absolute treat!

Outer Layer: Perfectly crispy and golden brown, with just the right thickness—not too doughy, not too thin. They stayed crunchy even after a while, which shows they were freshly fried.

Filling: The potato and pea mixture was well-seasoned with classic Desi Indian spices—savory, slightly tangy, and full of flavor. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and thoughtfully prepared.

Size & Portion: Generously sized! One samosa was quite filling, but it was hard to stop at just one.

If you’re craving authentic North Indian food, this Chole Bhature should be at the top of your list. Highly recommended!...

We went there at chestermre location everything was terrible experience food quantity is very very low & taste was not good any of item we spend $100 didn’t like any food no quality no quantity don’t wanna come back again plus when I talk to the cashier she didn’t even offer to replace with anything she just gave me the bill I mean they just don’t care how the food & service noodles were really spicy 🌶️ fish tikka was too much salt & golgappe they didn’t gave us sweet sauce none offer water or anything until u called them & ask 2 order of kulcha s taste like horrible when I talk up cashier she said we have new chef so it’s not customer s fault hi whoever reply for this u need to check the camera & videos properly u didn’t saw when I came& got the containers for packing & I told right way to ur worker noodles are spicy & dish tikka she didn’t offer me any replacement but if ur saying u want to share photos then pls share the videos too when one of my guests s ear & face got red after eating noodles other...

I have ordered from Chat Bar multiple times and now it is my new go to place since the food is very delicious and homely. 🤤 After trying their Vada Pav, veg burger, kulchas, Amritsai kulcha, puri chhole, aloo paratha, gobhi paratha, mix paratha and gajrella and lassi in my different orders, I feel they have maintained that Indian taste of street food while still keeping the food quality like that of your home made food. ❤️

According to me their best is Amritsari Kulcha and their parathas. Amritsari kulcha has everything you would expect in a kulcha- the stuffing is so good that you can eat the kulcha without any chhole. Yet, they serve free raita with almost everything I have ordered. There is always extra chutneys if you are a fan of them. Also, the mango used in the mango shake is yummy!
