Mar. 22 update after owner’s response - is it just so hard to apologize for your poor service standards? I haven’t heard a simple ‘Sorry’! Why do you have your online order system while it’s not recommended? And it’s been over a month since I ordered and reviewed, now you are telling me after one month that everyone remember you add the pickled vegetables? Will always tell people to skip this place! Original review - I used to love this place and always visit every couple weeks even though it’s about half an hour drive from my house. But since the new owner came in, I have only been there twice and now I have decided to leave a negative review and not go there anymore. The first time I noticed that they no longer have the pickled vegetables in the dishes which I love, and then I didn’t go for a long time. Yesterday I decided to give it another try and ordered 4pm pickup online. When my husband got to the restaurant at 4:03pm, they told him my order went through but they didn’t notice it so he had to wait there for ten more minutes while we were in a rush. In the meantime, they didn’t even apologize AND THE WAITRESS WAS BLAMING US FOR NOT CALLING TO ORDER!!! And again, the dish does not have the pickled vegetables I love. (And FYI, since I chose to pay in person rather than pay online, they charged extra fees for the containers which I believe if I chose to pay online, I won’t get charged for that.) July 5,2024 Gave them a 5star in 2022,2023. New owner in 2024. Not impressed, not fresh products being use, msg in the food, some of it you can taste it. Do not recommend to anyone now

Dec 6, 2022 It's been over 7 months since the last time we reviewed Guilin Rice Noodle. Went there for supper last night. Some of what we had was the extra extra spicy Kung Pao Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and the Curry chicken again they never failed us with their flavourful food. Still the best Dim Sums and Fabulous Food from sticky rice to main dishes to Dim Sum in Chilliwack and Abbotsford. Dim Sum is very comparable to Richmond. The food is great eat-in at the restaurant or as take-out.. Recommend it to anyone wanting to experience the real thing. They serve their own traditional country meals. Prices are very affordable for the good portions you get. The service is great and very friendly. Guilin Rice Noodle is a total gem. .

Came out here the other night, not expecting much - I mean, Chinese food in Chilliwack doesn't always sound like a... Promising endeavour.

I wish I took photos sooner but myself and my family pigged out too quickly 🤣

The woman serving us was lovely, super kind, very attentive. The woman bringing us food directly from the kitchen was also very nice.

The menu has a variety of some dim sum, starters, and full meals. My family ordered a few dim sum items, which came out freshly made.

Oh my gosh. The dumplings in chilli oil - heavenly. My father who can't tolerate much spice anymore due to health issues noted he could just drink the sauce/oil despite the heat. I could have just asked for 5 orders and hoarded them all for myself.

We also ordered pot stickers, steamed pork bun, char siu bao, and something I'm not remembering the name of (bean curd wrapper). All fantastic, great flavour, super fresh. I am REALLY happy that it's not the American-Chinese food we see too much.

Definitely coming...
