Papa AJ's Pizza — Restaurant in Chilliwack

I have ordered from them fairly regularly for years now as it's just down the street from my apartment. It has always been good ,consistent and affordable. That is until tonight. I always order the same two pizzas. A meatlovers (add jalepenos) and a create your own (bacon,spinach feta,onion with a ranch sauce base). While I have never had a single issue all these years tonight there were x2. The meatlovers pizza was completely undercooked to the point of a wet soggy bottom(the bottom of the box was even soggy) and the toppings were falling of the pizza. I ended up having to put it in my oven for over 10 min on the bottom rack just to make it edible by which point I had kinda already been grossed out and turned off pizza from the first bite of it. The second Pizza while properly cooked was devoid of any bacon on it whatsoever Pricing wise these guys used to be one of the cheapest places in town At one point even being able to get a large 3 topping for 10.99 Generally my bill is around high $30s to low $40s depending on if I add any dips or not. Tonight I did not and my order cost $52 dollars There's was a young woman tonight working the front and making the pizzas who i have never seen before. While I understand training new staff and the hiccups that come with it. You need to be quality checking your product to ensure it's to standard . For the price that I paid I was hoping at least for a cooked pizza. While I do belive if I had called the store or walked back in they would have done something to rectify the situation I just wanted to eat my food and get ready for bed. We ordered 2 medium pizzas from Papa AJs through skip the dishes tonight. Both pizzas were overbaked with almost no sauce. One of the pizzas was the completely wrong pizza, spicy, and completely inedible. The other was not much better and had no sauce or toppings. I called the store first and spoke to a woman claiming to be the manager. She admitted it sounded like we got the wrong pizza, but offered no empathy or refund. She said I had to contact skip for a refund since I paid through skip. I requested a refund from skip but it was declined because no items were missing, only incorrect. My friend called the store back to speak to the same girl who told him we could get an in store credit for a pick up if we could submit a skip receipt and proof skip did not credit us. I have emails of both. She took my friend's number and said the owner would review it and they would call us back. She called my friend back a few minutes later and said the owner will not credit us if skip will not credit us. This is the same woman who just told him we could get an in store credit for a pick up order. She even implied that we were lying, even though we offered to show them both emails. Used to have good service. Since the new delivery guy, there is a charge for delivery now. You don't find this out until after you placed your order. The pizza is good but you have to be ready to either pick it up yourself or pay the delivery fee. They also got our order wrong- they added a topping my wife is allergic too despite us saying it was an allergy. When the pizza was delivered after an hour, they said it would take another 45 to get the right one delivered. When it did arrive, it was the actual owner who delivered it and said his delivery guy doesn't travel that far because he doesn't make enough from tips. Not worth it in...
