I absolutely LOVE to cook korean cuisine so when I found out about Yale Road Market I was thrilled. Let me start by saying that the man who owns this place takes alot of well deserved pride in his store. He always greets with a smile and is ready to answer any questions you may have about products, food and anything else. This place is clean, organized and STACKED with korean dish ingredients, snacks, frozen food selections, refrigerated goods, curry mixes, rice cakes, frozen noodles, instant Ramen, and so so much more! My personal favorite that keeps me coming back over and over is the kimchi made by his mother's friend. Was looking for a place to get japanese nori and curry cubes, and some other stuff for cooking Japanese food at home, and stumbled upon this place on Google. Did not disappoint! Great selection of Korean and Japanese ingredients and snacks that I wouldn't be able to find anywhere else in Chilliwack. The owner was so nice and even recommended his favorite Korean drink, and gave it to us as a welcome gift ! I will for sure be going back here and recommended anyone I can to check it out.
