Royal Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Chilliwack

I was really looking forward to trying this place and wanted to love it but the batter on the chicken was completely raw under the surface. Besides that the chicken used was good quality, very juicy and had flavour throughout the meat. The pieces were a good size as well. All I had was the chicken itself so I can't comment on any of their other menu items. If the batter was a little bit runnier when applied... enough of it probably would have dripped off...

Was always hesitant to try this place because it never looks too busy but we ordered out tonight and it was so good! The batter on the chicken was light and very crispy. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. We had wings, a sandwich and poutine, all were very good. My only comment would be that it was a little bit salty for my liking but I don't expect anything less from fried chicken! Staff was very friendly and we'll definitely...

Not the best, but not the worst. The portions are reasonable for the price, although I found the chicken and fries to be unbearably greasy (far beyond the typical greasiness of fried chicken). There was a thick layer of oil right beneath the skin, and the fries were rather saturated with oil and soggy. The seasoning was also somewhat lacking. Overall not horrible, but there are definitely better...
