Jonny Waffles on the water — Restaurant in City of Cold Lake

I'd give it a zero if I could! We came here today with a party of five. My daughter in law asked for half a waffle and the waitress said no, you have to have a whole one. I asked for eggs Benedict, but it was just after 1 and they don't serve them after 1. That was fine, but then the manager came out with eggs Benedict and ate them at the bar in front of everyone. My son ordered waffles and two eggs with bacon. The waitress brought out one egg on a plate with nothing else, then brought out the waffle, then another lone egg on a plate, and never brought the bacon. Everyone was served and finished their meals and she never brought me mine. When she served everyone else theirs she says, oh, what did you order again and then goes and puts it through. I got to sit there and watch everyone eat and didn't get my meal. We complained and the manager didn't charge me for mine and gave it to me to go anyways and did give a discount. When I opened the food at home it was all soggy and cold...and my son's bacon was thrown in there. Absolutely the worst experience at any restaurant I've ever had. We will NEVER go back! Two...

The service is terrible! No waitress came to my table to see if I needed anything since first seating me and taking my drink order. After drinking my initial coffee and waiting patiently (for at least 15 minutes), I decided to flag down a waitress to ask for a coffee refill. Unfortunately, that waitress must have gotten distracted because she never came back with any coffee. After watching three different waitresses ask every table around me if they needed anything and waiting close to an overall 40 minutes without receiving my food or having a waitress come by my table, I gave up on waiting and went to Tim Hortons for a coffee and something to eat.

What happened, Jonny Waffles? You used to be way better than that. (Don't blame being busy. That's an unacceptable excuse especially since no waitress came by my table but they were at tables around me.)

Food was great. It’s was yummy and worth the money spent. However service was god awful. Our server Sydney was at our table a total of 3 times. 1 to take orders 2 to drop off food and 3 to collect payment. The spoons for our coffee were absolutely disgusting. We didn’t even want to drink it. The server was pretty rude and seemed to have no care in the world about our table. We watched her sit around and talk with the other servers. Meanwhile I had to go to another server to get the correct food order. As a server myself I was appalled by the lack of service from Sydney. However the food was amazing. The other server tall Brunette was amazing. She helped me receive the correct order and was genuinely amazing. I am very upset by the treatment we got from Sydney.
