Went in at 12:30, 1 cash register, so very slow service. Cashier couldn't get my name right even though I spelled it out twice. I got my order and left to come home to eat. I ordered a grilled ceasar salad, chicken fingers, and a large lemonade. I opened the bag up to find my salad, my dipping sauce(s), and 3 yes, I said 3 chicken fingers, 1 of which was actually broken, and that piece was missing. So, $7.29 for again 3 chicken fingers. I was p*^#ed, I was going to take it back, but why waste the gas. This is not on. the total order was over $22. Rip off, hire people that pay attention to what's going on.
UPDATE..... It has been well over a month and no response from anyone in the Wendy's chain.... So this tells me no one in the Wendy's franchise cares about the service or quality of the menu or services offered. Shame... at one time Wendy's was one of my favorite restaurant chains. Their meals were a great deal, with quality and quantity going hand in hand, now the only hand is the greed reaching for your $'s. Shame...
Update ... March 2nd 2024, My wife went to Wendy's here in Cold Lake. She bought a Grilled Chicken Ceasar Salad for $10.29, a single cheese for $7.19 and large fries for $4.19 total with taxes $22.75.
She got in our vehicle and came home (3km).
I opened up my salad to find slimy browning lettuce, like it had just been collected from other containers and put into this one. The some of the fries were only partially cooked and others were rock hard and they along with the burger were cold.
I was hoping that things had improved since the last time I was in there (almost ten months ago). But this was not to be, neither one of us will be going back. I realize that this might be acceptable in a third world country but this is Canada.. We expect better for the money. I guess no one from Wendy's Canada's head office gets to hear about these things or their mountains of money from ripping people off...

I had already placed my order online and not to mention they forgot my mayo, and than they also charged me 60c for a “large” cup and didn’t even give me a large one instead gave me the medium when I already ask for something like that. Overall I feel the staff have a very poor communication with the customers and could improve by putting more attention to the small details people say like condiments or even sizes as those affect an experience. Altho the lady did follow up and let us know we were waiting for no salt. When we ordered we asked for a menu to take home, a pretty common thing to have, someone else overtook the speaker, and loudly explained the menus were only for dine in customers, but of course, you can’t dine in, so no menus available for anyone. Then we got to the window, only to be told, coupons were ‘mailed out by mistake’ and they’re not honouring them. Another first, as I’ve not heard that before… a mistake mailing… service quality, not good! Food, okay, but not exactly the full menu I remember, where’s the mushroom burger? All in all, for a first experience at the new wendys, I found myself leaving the drive thru rather annoyed. Improved service quality...
