I used to serve for 12 years. Still do on occasion. But being a girl, sitting alone, servers may just assume I'm a poor tipper. Anyway, I come and sit in the lounge, right. I sit at the bar Infront of some server changing the channel. She turns around, looks at me and just continues doing her thing until she walks away. A guy walks in, sits down and she went to greet him.. so at this point I've taken the hint that she doesn't want me sitting at the bar so I go sit in the booth behind her new table. She comes up to me, looks at me and says "ID?" .. This is hands down the most bratty serving behavior in the industry and it's far from respected. I couldn't be bothered to get her name, the specials or even a genuine smile as if she was happy to even be here. I think it's time to retire the serving life, babe; As I can't imagine you make much tips with garbage for an attitude. I'm fully aware you have to pay out of pocket for the bill I chose not to tip on, as tips are earned, not expected. Try a quality check or a water refill, a bit less stuck up, and you may have just gotten enough for tip out. Stay humble, Shantelle

First of all, Ilea makes the best Margarita ever. Glenn, who used to work at the Red Deer South location was the best. Ilea's surpassed his. My daughter also enjoyed the Ceaser equally. 😋
I have allergies and the first thing I asked Ilea was if they have an allergy binder. She said yes and the best part was that she knew how to use it. Yay
There was a couple of glitches with our food order. All good, things happen "It is what it is". Ilea handled the issues with grace, humour and expediency. She immediately took action to rectify the situation, twice. She did all that while providing quality customer service to an almost full lounge and a large group on the patio as well as bartending. WOW! And smiling the entire time.
Our food order was not only corrected in a timely manner, it was delicious! Thank you Chef!
That was our first time at the Lacombe location. We will definitely be back and hopefully Ilea will be working. Actually, we will only go if she is working.

Read moreWe ate here with our daughter’s ringette team. All of our food was preordered a couple of days prior. It took 2 hours for us to eat and pay for a pre-ordered meal off their team menu which is strictly salad/pizza/pasta. Our entire team was overcharged and rather than take the bills back and do them properly, each family had to explain in detail why their bill was wrong. (They charged regular menu price instead of the prices off the team menu we were asked to order from.) We had to send our bill back 3 times before it was correct. The servers all looked like they were trying their best but it was evident that the manager has no interest in helping his staff succeed, nor does he care about customer experiences. We never eat at Boston Pizza unless it’s a group thing because they are all the same. Next time we will have to skip the team building activity. I can make better Alfredo out of a box at home anyways. This was the last straw for us and we will NEVER set foot in another Boston Pizza ever again.
