PhoXpress Leduc — Restaurant in City of Leduc

My recent visit to phoXpress Leduc was quite disappointing. While the food was acceptable, the overall dining experience was marred by poor service and an unpleasant billing surprise.

Food

The dishes we ordered were decent but nothing to write home about. The flavors were average, and the presentation was standard. There wasn’t anything particularly remarkable or memorable about the food.

Service

The service was, unfortunately, far below expectations. Our server was inattentive and did not check in to see if we needed water refills or anything else throughout our meal. This lack of attention to basic service needs was frustrating and impacted our dining experience negatively.

Billing Surprise

The most troubling aspect of our visit was the handling of the tip. As we were preparing to pay, the server informed us that she had already added a tip to the bill. This was done without our knowledge or consent, and we were not informed of the amount beforehand. To our surprise, she added an 18% tip for herself. Given that we were there for a birthday lunch, I chose not to make a scene and paid the bill as it was. It was only after receiving the receipt that I noticed the tip amount.

Conclusion

After eating Vermicelli with Vegetarian Spring Rolls (as don't eat pork). I must say since I haven't been there in a very long time, I wont be going back.

The Vermicelli bowl had no flavor, and it stated comes with vegetables', but all that it came with was a few strips of carrot, lettuce. Pretty boring.

I wasn't sure if I would make it home, I was so sick after eating here, as well as the other people I meet there for a late lunch.
