Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in City of Lloydminster

I had only tried Papa Johns years ago and obviously forgotten how bland these pizzas are. Whenever wife and I order pizza its always the same ingredients. Don't care what they call it by number, or special. I order a Hawaiian with beef and mushrooms with extra cheese. This time i went (super Hawaiian) Wife gets all meat double cheese. So what did we receive. I could count the mushroom pieces thru the extra layers of an alledged triple (type) cheese and i did see a few pieces of mushrooms here and there, even spotted some pineapple bits, no sauce and definately not extra cheeze. In doing so we can really compare apples to apples persay. The toppings on a 12" pizza stop at least 2" or more from the edge making for a lot of bare crust. Yes the crust is soft good thing if you wear dentures. The trademark pickle thing included in every box hits the garbage can instantly. Arlo Guthrie is right "I don't want a pickle". The real shocker is the price. Yes everything has increased substantially over the past few years. Really though, 2 simple 12" pizzas's over $55 picked up on route home. Expected some marvelous tasting "best ingrediants" version of a pizza. Read about the love it guarantee online the next day. Leftovers still in the fridge in a box. Feed the extended crust pieces to the birds, raven's aren't fussy they will eat anything they find. We're a tadd more selective. This officially takes Papa John's off the list. There are many other pizza shops here in Lloydminster all have distinct catchy slogans with ingrediant styles types of crust and flavours. Several are way way less money and taste better with oddles of toppings that make them a far more satisfying selection. Papa John's you need to reevaluate how you create one of the most expensive pizza's in town as other shops are doing much better and have gained us...

Ordered off Skip the Dishes, got a call saying they don’t have garlic breadsticks, so we said ok we will have regular ones? And that was all that was said. A hour later still no pizza, check the app and they hadn’t even started our order. So I call the Lloyd location and the guy that answered was very rude and hung up on me when I asked if they had something could be exchanged instead of bread sticks because apparently they didn’t have any bread sticks at all. Was handled very unprofessional. Why didn’t they call back and say we can’t accept your order because we don’t have what you ordered. I was not very impressed having 2 young hungry kids waiting for 1 and a half hours after trick or treating before getting their food. Ended up having to cancel the order and reorder before I could...

Ordered just a regular pepperoni pizza with triple cheese, seems easy enough. Pre paid and pre tipped the delivery driver. Pizza shows up with almost no cheese so I call the store. They say I ordered "light cheese" which could be forgivable if they didn't already charge me an extra $7 for the extra. Had to drive to the store to get the correct order, and when I asked about a refund for the delivery fee they said "we'll just remember your phone number and give you free delivery next time" which A) is hard to believe and B) not going to happen anyways since I have no plans to order from there ever again. It's been 8 years since my previous order (because of a similar experience then) may as well make it a other 8+.
