Second Cup Café — Restaurant in City of Lloydminster

It's about 50/50 what your going to get for service sometimes there great, cheerful and friendly .. other times they obviously don't want to be there let alone help you. This evening I stood at the till for 5 minutes... no one in line, no one waiting... When she finally acnowlaged I was standing there I hardly ordered my drink and she already rung it up and put it to the debit ... Then leaves the counter promptly so I wait and then tell her I would also like two pieces of banana bread and 1 cookie ... So she rings that up seperately and tells another lady to get it. The second lady gets me one of each and I said it's supposed to be two pieces of banana bread .. she just stands there looking at me so I explain further I ordered two I have no idea if she put two because she didn't give me my receipt so lady two stands there looking at lady one .. lady one fumbles some receipts and said she only put one ... And rings up another one like seriously lady I don't wanna pay for the third time on the same order so I took the one and left ... Lady two was appologenic and said lady one was in training but she definitely wasnt ... The cookie was hard as a rock and the bread was cut so uneven ... The management better pick it up or Lloyd will lose...

So this just happened. I googled our local hours of operation and it said they were open till 9:30pm on Saturdays. It was 9:17 and we drove up to the drive through window. It looked a little dim inside but there was a few lights on. We sat for a few moments and then saw a person walk through the building to the front. We were thinking they were just cleaning up and was going to take our order. Then the lights turned off. We sat for a few moments then realized they were not taking going to take our order. Now I know what you’re thinking. Google isn’t always correct with hours of operation. That’s what I thought too. But there was a light up sign on the window right at the drive thru that said their hours. Guess what… Saturday said they were open till 9:30. Needless to say we were not happy. If your open till 9:30 stay open till 9:30. Don’t close down early because you want to clean up and get out of there by...

I always have a good time here, until yesterday. Came in for a coffee date, both of our drinks had curdled milk in them. I asked them to remake my drink and they did. They had me smell the milk, it smelt fine. But it curdled again. She then checked the expiry date and told me it was spoiled. Nice. Also got food and it was dryer than a nun. Couldn't bare to eat it. Haven't been here in a few months so maybe they're just going downhill. 3 stars just for previous times here going well. Lost 2...
