I ordered brown sugar boba, which is tapioca cooked with brown sugar and marinating in that sugar until it gets scooped into your cup and the syrup drips down the sides of your cup making it very instagram photogenic. The only other ingredient is fresh milk creating an interesting sensation of hot boba contrasting with cold milk, this drink actually contains no tea and is caffeine friendly…but it will give you a sugar high!). The tapioca is cooked well. Its very soft, maybe a bit too soft for my liking as I prefer a little bit more chew in the middle but overall the consistency is good and the outside of the tapioca still have its integrity.

The sugar level is to sweet for my liking, I forgot to ask just 20% sugar.

The Verdict

The Liquid: 4/5, the brown sugar milk was good and didn’t dilute the overall drink, tea was also good but maybe better with milk powder

The Toppings: 4/5, good texture but could be more chewy and flavourful

X Factor: 5/5, well there’s not denying their aesthetic is on point. The store looks good and the drinks looks good! They have some unique items that if you like you will keep coming back for cause I haven’t seen them elsewhere! that one drink is very good and it’s very instagrammable.

My wife and I recently visited Bubble Tea and Coffee Lab, and we were delighted by the refreshing and delicious drinks we ordered. The cozy atmosphere of the cafe coupled with the friendly service made our experience all the more enjoyable.

I opted for the Mais Con Hielo, a corn-based bubble tea that was a unique twist on a classic drink. The combination of sweet corn flavor with the chewy jelly was surprisingly delightful. The drink was not overly sweet, which I appreciated, and it had a perfect balance of flavors. My wife tried the Ice Crumble, and it was a true treat for her taste buds. The creamy vanilla combined with the crunchy crumble toppings created a delightful contrast in textures. The drink had just the right amount of sweetness she absolutely loved.

The presentation of both drinks was also noteworthy, as they were beautifully crafted and served with attention to detail. The drinks were served promptly, and we could tell that they were made with care and precision.

I came here yesterday with family friends children who evacuated from Drayton Valley. I wanted to introduce them newly opened bubble tea shop opened in town.

My son wanted sanpellegrino lemonade can, but I have gotten lemonade glass bottle.

I mentioned it to the girl, who served me she then exchanged a drink and left.

So I asked if there is any price different, and she goes, " Yeah, it is 50 cent more (glass bottle cost $0.50 more)

Since I paid for more expensive drink and gotten slightly cheaper drink, I was waiting for her to offer the difference.

Then, there was a bit of awkward silence since she was not offering to give back difference, so I took a glass bottle as I did not want to make a scene.

There were 3 girls working at the moment. However, I could not see any supervisor willing to help the situation. Hopefully, she was not the manager.

I support local businesses, and I do not mean to post negative experiences to deter others.

However, I would like to let the owner aware how their staff treat customers when they are not there.

It is a beautiful place and clean. My daughter loves to come here and take pictures with their drink.
