La Bezt Donair & Pizza — Restaurant in City of Spruce Grove

Le Bezt is Le Worzt.

The place was clean but the pizza ovens pour out heat which makes it unbearable to stand near the counter. I ordered a donair and paid $1.50 up front for extra sauce. While watching the donair being made I asked for extra sauce. The guy at the table said he already put extra sauce on it. I told him I wanted more and he said I would have to pay extra. I asked if he wanted me to pay $3 for extra sauce just to get a little more (it looked dry) he said yes and wouldn't budge on giving me more sauce, and I had already paid for extra. I told him "okay, but I'm not going to enjoy it". The guy just gave me a confused look then handed me my donair. It was one of the driest and worst donairs I've ever had, and every time I drive by Le Bezt I tell whoever I'm with to never go there.

I’ve lived in Spruce grove for over 13 years now. La Bezt opened about the same time I came here. Their pizza is always nicely cooked, with lots of ingredients. The meat is piled thick with lots of cheese, and I personally love the sauce they make. Their donairs are excellent.. and their fries are some of the tastiest, crispest I’ve had. I’ve mostly had takeout, (they have a bit of a dining room). They are always fast and friendly, and have offered samplers while I was waiting for my order on several occasions. Every order comes with a cinnamon covered flatbread that is fantastic. I highly recommend this pizza joint. I’m usually not the type of person to leave a review but this experience took it to another level for me tonight. Ordered two regular donairs and a poutine from here. $45 for this btw. I get home and open up the bag and try our food, French fries are raw!!! Couldn’t believe it. On to the donairs, they messed up the whole order my wife had cheese on hers I had no cheese on mine. ( which I asked for ). I asked for half sweet sauce half garlic they gave us full garlic. Sauce was cold and tasted like hummus, meat was soggy and bland no seasoning whatsoever. I just don’t understand restaurants anymore it’s like they don’t pay any attention to detail like how do you get raw French fries?! Anyways I just wanna give people a heads up about this place, not...
