Ray's Wok — Restaurant in City of Spruce Grove

After waiting about 7 minutes, we ordered two B-Combo's. The beef in the "Beef With Mixed Greens" was all fatty and the broccoli was hard with long stems that we couldn't cut. Instead we had to pick them up and bite the ends off, totally unacceptable. When I asked if I could substitute chicken for the beef I was told it would cost an extra $3.00 which I thought was too high. I noticed a lady at the counter ordering take-out saying the same thing. The chicken fried rice was a nice sized portion however it had an odd taste to it. The sweet & sour chicken balls were good and a fair size. The egg roll was mostly batter but still edible.

An asian lady served me chicken noodle soup that did not have a chicken taste to it and the tiny chicken chunks were fatty. When I made the mistake of thinking it was Wonton soup I thought the lady was going to bite my head off. She calmed down after I apologized.

The male server was okay, but not overly polite. It would have been nice if he checked on us after he served us, but he chose not to, and it wasn't even that busy.

I had to go to the counter to get a bottle of soy sauce and ask for some salt as both were not on the table. The server should have asked us if we wanted any when he brought us our meal and once again, he chose not to.

Overall, the food was okay. After reading several reviews complaining how rude this lady was, one might think they would correct that, but obviously they don't understand the value of a customer. We all have choices in life, sometimes it's the choices we make that can hurt us.

Sadly we won't...

Came in an hour before close, to be told, “you have to hurry and order.” We were the only customers in the restaurant.During our visit the waitress never checked in at any point. Had to track down staff in order to get a side of sauce. After rushing to eat, we sat waiting for the waitress who was chatting away on her cell phone. After repeated attempts to gain her attention, she came over to our table while continuing her phone conversation. Dropped “to go” containers on our table saying nothing, walking away still on her cell. After waiting for our bill we became impatient, got up and went to the front counter to acquire the bill. While still on her phone conversation, she rang in our bill not addressing us at all. At which point I informed her we needed separate bills. Without even glancing away from her phone stating no words at all, she rang in our bills abruptly. Food was great but the service was...

WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE *im a pretty laid back person and I hate to complain about things like this but I have never experienced anything like this before I called in for delivery when dinner arrived it was not the correct order .. When I called to let them know the lady on the phone argued and started raising her voice at me .I again tried to explained to her that this was not what I ordered and that all I would like is to have what I ordered she then Hung up the phone on me I could not believe the service .. I mean I payed for my meal including the delivery free and I did not receive what I had ordered and then when I called to simply deal with the situation she raised her voice at me and hung up the phone on me .. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever experienced !!! I will never ever be ordering from this...
