Although I have always gone to this location and the staff is always nice, one major thing I don't like is the fact that over the years the topping on the Portabella Mushroom melt has not only disappeared but the cheese sauce is not the cheese sauce it shows in the adds on tv and their website. It appears that the cheese sauce has been watered down to the point its not cheese anymore and the cheese sauce/mushroom topping has pretty much disappeared to the point where you have to pay an addition .60 cents for the amount of cheese sauce and mushrooms you are supposed to get to begin with. Thus making it a $10 for a double Portabella Mushroom burger itself. To combat this, I took a drive to the Stony Plain Wendys and ordered a double portabella mushroom burger without extra cheese and mushroom sauce and got more here without the extra sauce than the Spruce Grove Wendys gives you with the extra sauce. Although nice customer service in Spruce Grove Wendys, I would recommend drive 5 minutes west to Stony Plain Wendys and get what you are paying for. Nothing ercks a customer more than being taken advantage of with Spruce Grove Wendys acting like "If you wabt it WE"RE the only ones that have it". The only way to punish a business for wrong doing to a customer is to stop supporting that individual business until they change their habits and stop stealing from long term customers. In all fairness is making a long term customer pay an extra .60 for toppings that are already supposed to be there worth it , as now I don't go to this location and the .60 cents lost them all my business. They make me feel like all the years I spent money there was for nothing. Very disappointed that the manager would allow this to happen. My motto is and always will be, "If they steal a little then they should lose alot". I say drive to Stony Plain Wendys and get what you pay for where that manager doesn't seem to want the workers to steal from you, as your business seems to be appreciated there but, not in...
Read morePayed for delivery with skip and it was over $60 for 2 JBCs, 2 Salad Combos and a burger combo. The fries and burgers were cold, plus the burgers were just sloppily thrown together with a tiny piece of lettuce on each and mayo all over the packaging. Also I was taught when working in the food industry they black fries mean that it was rotten and for some reason we got several very rotten fries with our food. The lettuce and apples have rotten pieces in the salad, we had to pay extra to change the blue cheese to shredded and we got one little package of sauce for each salad. Not even enough for us to both get to eat our salads. For some reason your not allowed to select no ice in drinks so they loaded mine up with it compared to the coke and my Nestea ended up tasting like flavored lemon water. Extremely disappointing in taste, presentation, portion size and quality of...
Read moreMy name is Chadwick Benjamin, I dined at this particular Wendy’s establishment on August 8th, at 1:07pm rounded to the nearest minute. I was and am very impressed by this particular Wendy’s. I ordered my usual order, 4 dave’s doubles with double extra mayo and no patties. Service was sufficient, nothing special but definitely above average, and my food came in a timely manner. After I guzzled down my heart stopping meal, I had to check out the bathroom to wash my hands. The bathroom WAS in excellent condition until I dropped an earth shattering bomb in their toilet. I think I single handedly caused a tidal wave in Vietnam. After I undeniably obliterated their only stall and left the stench of 1000 men, I quickly washed my hands and left on my way. Overall not as good as the doom of my underwear in the stony plain A&W, but still a solid 9/10 experience,...
