Boston Pizza — Restaurant in Clarence-Rockland

Terrible service and food. Decided to come in for a small lunch with a few friends. The waitress gave my transgendered friend quite a few disgusted looks and began to treat us with very little respect. This made my friend rather uncomfortable and upset. We were also on a time limit, but didn't feel I needed to say this, as I've been here before and they were rather quick. When we were seated, we got our drinks rather quickly. We easily went through the drinks and put our drinks to the side. She probably went by a few times before we flagged her down and asked for refills on the drinks. She seemed rather annoyed with our request but did comply. She took her sweet time with taking our order, almost 10 minutes before one of my friends flagged her down out of impatience. She seemed rather impatient as well and gave me little time to order. It took another 10 minutes to bring us a small pizza, which is fine. When the pizza was at last received, it was rather tasteless and disappointing. Another friend of mine appeared, so we had to ask for another plate. It took multiple attempts to flag the waitress down and at this rate, we had to give a napkin to my friend, just to put his pizza down. The waitress at last came with the plate with a rather annoyed look and gave another upsetting look to my friends. At this rate, I'm just upset that my meal was tasteless and I really just wanted to leave. So after once again, multiple attempts at flagging the waitress down, she came. She asked us in a rather upsetting tone about the bill, and my friend had offered to pay half. She gave us once again an annoyed look. It took about almost 10 minutes to get the bill, and at this rate, I was just upset. I would of been okay with 5 minutes, but this was unbelievable. When she finally came back, she gave us our bill and quickly left. It took yet another 10 minutes for her to come back with the machine. I was extremely upset and we were running extremely late. Even if I wasn't in a rush, the bill should of came faster then that.

I'm very disappointed with the service and food. I've never been to a restaurant that hadn't served with a smile. I felt uncomfortable for my friend, and unwelcomed. I don't plan on coming back if this is how they...

I can understand that mistakes can happen but when they are compounded throughout an experience it's a hard pill to swallow. Ordered some food for our sons 4th birthday due to some nasty weather preventing us from visiting the restaurant in person. All seemed great at first with the restaurant even offering to throw in some cotton candy for our son, but unfortunately the manager neglected to notify the delivery company of the order for pick up. It wasn't until we got in touch with them that we were notified that they had forgotten to let them know about the delivery and that they would "rush the order". This would have meant an order that had been sitting for over an hour being sent to us if we didn't ask if they would be remaking the order due to this error. When asked if they monitor the orders sitting in their warmer we were told there is zero quality control around making sure food goes out fresh. The drivers pick up the food without checking in with the staff. As of 7:30 p.m. we are still waiting for an order that was placed at 4:48 p.m.... When the order finally did show up the restaurant hadn't even offered a discount to make amends for the horrible experience, luckily the delivery company (Night off delivery - our saviours on this night - was able to make sure we were taken care...

Food is good but service overall is not great. I am talking about mostly for takeout/delivery. We haven't dined much in due to covid, but every time we order something for takeout, there is something ALWAYS missing, it is a bit ridiculous. I am not sure who runs their kitchen, but this person needs to start stepping up. Keep in mind, even when we do dine in, items are always missing. I understand if it's one thing here and there, but literally EVERY time for the last 5 or more years. When it's dine in, it isn't bad because you can ask for anything missing right there and you'll get it, but when it's takeout/delivery and you get home, it is just an inconvenience.

This review is for all of those times. They just can't get their things in order. We have called their management numerous times, but other than apologizing, I still don't see any improvement. The owner/management will probably comment on this review since they take "feedback very seriously", but in reality it won't improve. Too bad.
