Went out for dinner with my sister and parents,

GOT MY BILL WITH A 19$ TIP ALREADY ADDED, my parents got a bill with a 33$ tip already added! 18%

I was actually shocked that they just add a tip, I went back to ask and they said because we are a bigger group (more than 10) they automatically add 18%. They were pretty rude as well.

To me that's not acceptable, it should be up to me how much of a tip they get, if the service is good I give a good tip, if the service is crap I'll give what they deserve. I'd never give less than 10% but it should ALWAYS be up to the customers.

My family and I enjoyed a great meal. Started with a great host and server. I had the Philly and upgraded to a Poutine. I 100% have to say, their Poutine is 1 of the best I've ever had and I really do like a good Poutine which is very hard to find. The gravy was delicious, cheese melted, fries tasty.... The food is amazing! Everything is always perfect. It's one of my families go to restaurants. The owner and his staff are all amazing and they have such a big heart. Even when they are experiencing multiple closures themselves during COVID, they continued to reach out to the community and help those in need. At one point, when the owner found out I had lost income to COVID, he had dinner sent over for my husband and I. His gesture was truly heartwarming and lifted my spirit.
