This is my fist review of Maison De Xi as I recently moved to Rockland. My review will be realistic due to the fact that we are in a pandemic and that my order was on New Year's eve (most busy time) The online ordering is flawless. The given time of delivery was 90 minutes and it was exactly that. I was well greeted at the door. The food: Pros: Great portions and the containers are above standard. Neatly placed in the bag with no spillage. Egg rolls are average and quite delicious. The Chicken Balls were well battered and contained a fair sized chunk of chicken. The General Tso was simply amazing! The best choice of my order. Wow! So good! The Fried Rice was not over cooked and kept its flakiness. No clumps. The Almond Chicken Guy Ding Was disappointing but the portion was good. Cons: The Egg rolls had a taste of old fried oil and the texture was pasty and dry. Still good tasting. The chicken balls were a tad dry. Nothing major to announce here. The Fried Rice was pale in color. I had to add more soya sauce as well as chopped scallions. There wasn't enough of that as well as chicken. I could barely find pieces of chicken in the dish. The Almond Guy Ding's sauce had a darker color that I'm not used to but still tasted ok but the vegetables needed to be cooked more. They were too raw. Would I order there again? Absolutely. Given the time of year and how busy they were, Maison De Xin needs another chance. My overall rating on this...
   Read moreâ Hi there, We are faithful customers of yours and always prefer supporting local business. Last evening though, we were disappointed to find our combination plate not entirely full. There were only 4 pieces of beef with the broccoli and even less pieces of chicken in the imperial chicken portion. As well, our rice section was not entirely filled.
I am reaching out out of concern as we've always enjoyed your food items and have never encountered this before. We always try to leave a cash tip as well even though we are picking up as we know business can be tough at times and always appreciate the nice costumer service.
Sadly, we may choose to discontinue ordering from your restaurant and may try the other Chinese food business.

Like WTH â We have been difficulties trying to dine in as there sign are confusing for the buffet times & it's availability. Finally decided to order take out. The vegetable fried rice was nice, the beef with mixed vegetables was ok but had more vegetables than beef, the closed end egg rolls were good but smaller in size than other places I've tried. Finally we get home to find they gave us the wrong order number. It was a simple matter of sweet and sour chicken balls given rather than the garlic spare ribs. We do not eat battered chicken. I call them in hopes for a easy resolution. Instead I get called a liar and that they will do nothing. They said this is the order number you gave us and we repeated the numbers at the end. However I told them exactly what I wanted in the orders not knowing the numbers so once they repeated the numbers at the end, I had no idea and assumed it would be as asked for. We were wrong. I'll gladly drive to Orleans for my Chinese food and better customer service. All they had to do was simply tell us yes, were sorry.
