I don’t know why I waited so long to walk into this place. It’s amazing! Everything is so good and their prices are very reasonable IMO. I bought my mom a Mother’s Day cake here and she (and my dad) really loved it and ate almost the whole thing in a few hours. It was a decent size too but I guess they couldn’t resist. It was also beautifully done, much like the other treats we bought to try. My personal favourites are the Lemon Tartlets, the opera cake and the pistachio truffles, but there’s a lot I haven’t tried… yet. If you Love treats you’ll Love Gourmandises Avenue.

Everything I've tried here is a 10/10. So delicious and worth the money. Sad that they aren't closer to me. The 7 macarons and 3 chocolate fish were only $19! Update: Everything is still delicious 😋 Had the sorbet today and it was to die for!!! So yummy and the nest way to end a day at the beach. Another update: I have yet to try something that I didn't like. This place is a gem and the owner is too. If you like delicious ice cream, sorbet and sweets (too many to name) then come here!!!

Saw Gourmandises Avenue on Taste of Nova Scotia and had to go try... And to say we are in love is an understatement. We got some macarons and an opera cake. They are all AMAZING! I will be recommending this spot to everyone - a must try!

No clue what we even ordered but there was a pastry with gingerbread, blueberry, and some sort of whipped icing (?).. IT WAS SO GOOD!!! And so was my pastry with almonds!!

The left is the gingerbread one, the right is my almond one. Both very delicious and rich. We also went on a day that they were 25% off which was a bonus!

We ate on the rooftop patio that the woman working was so kind to tell us about, as we had no idea it...
