Tried many times to call to speak to a manager but, no one ever answers the phone. Showed up on a Saturday during lunch. Store was busy and dirty. Staff seemed to be moving at a snails pace. While making sandwiches, they collected the wrapper that they make the sandwiches on and left them on the cutting board instead of disposing of them. As it would, one blew on to the floor which a couple staff danced around before picking up. The staff member helping me then stopped, picked it up, off the floor, and then took the knife that they were using in people's food, wiped it clean with the wrapper from the floor, and put the knife back in rotation on the cutting board. I had to repeat 3 times what my order was and that I was getting it made the recommended way. When it came time for the sauces, I was given honey mustard, mayo, and regular mustard. The sandwich is not supposed to have regular mustard. It is not a listed item for that sandwich. When I expressed that it was an error, I was told it was not. I pointed to the multiple signs stating what comes on that sandwich and was told that it was an option that is supposed to be on it even though it never has been. When I asked if a manager or supervisor was in, I was told no, none. The staff member helping me then disappeared and sent out someone else, they carried on completely ignoring my request. While eating in the restaurant, it was visible that the staff was annoyed by the presence of people ordering, by giving sighs and frustrated gasps while taking orders or assisting people. Horrible...
Read moreUpdate: still the worst Subway I've been too. Was hoping that the long list of bad reviews here would nudge the owner to improve it but apparently it hasn't. They still serve stale bread, are out of many things, and the owner doesn't even care. If you're looking for a good sub in CH go to Randy's, Alexandra's, Kenny's, etc.; even SuperStore subs are much better than this Subway.
Very poor customer service. I had a problem with my order (the bread was stale), which is OK, it does happen. The problem was that the owner didn't seem to care. I reported the problem, and all I got was an email back saying they will train their staff better. No offer to make it right, no attempt to fix it. I haven't been back and won't be.
Edit: still the worst restaurant/take-away in Cole Harbour. One thing that makes most Subway restaurants stand apart is their fresh bread. You can smell the tastiness as you walk in. This one seems to deliberately bake their bread and then put it aside for three or four days to make sure it's stale by the time...
Read moreI am not happy with my experience. I asked for banana peppers on my sub and they piled on green pepper instead, which i cannot eat. When I called the store, the told me to bring it back and they will replace it.....however I told them that I cannot come back until likely Wednesday of next week as I am working/will not be around. They told me to keep the sub in my fridge and bring it in next week. So they want me to keep a rotten sandwich in my fridge for 5 days.....not happening, it was already thrown out. This is not good customer service and the manager there gave no other option for me to just leave my name to come the following week for a free replacement without the rotten sub by that point.
