Food - Mold on buns 3 times. Having a conversation with other customers is when we started finding out about the mold on buns. (my daughter got really sick) Manager Manpreet has absolutely zero customer service. They look at you like a Deer with a headlight shone All other AandW don't have a problem scanning your coupons and letting you re-use specially when you work next door to each other. Never had problems with AandW at first until we had to deal with Manpreet the Manager 4.Ashima owner/supervison/manager ????Don't know what her postion is because ever thing is some kind of secret. Always understaff to save money I have few more moldy pictures I work close by so I continued to go as long as it was deep fried and my daughters are at a school nearby. Which hoping majority of the schoolkids will not continue as they will all be showed the moldy burgers. Recommendations AandW hire people with customer service that are not illiterate. Read moreA&W used to be our go-to-in-desperate-times, because it was an Quick, Tasty, and Affordable “snack” in a pinch; not quite a meal, but it took away the hunger. I hessitate to say that our last visit was able to accomplish any of these three criteria. Starting with the time factor, we waited for our two Papa burgers to be made, until we wondered if we were forgotten. There was only two people ahead of us, and this particular location does not have drive thru, so their excuse was a mystery. The side of onion rings may have slowed things down a little, but inexcusable from our perspective, and we were given no apology when asked. Tasty being the next reason for our stop here, and it was Sad; VERY SAD. A&W has very good onion rings and these were spot on and there was nothing wrong with the appearance of the burgers but everything was bland and lacking, including the extra tomato on my burger. I guess I could give extra credit for it not being overly salted. The next reason: Affordable, is truly the nail in this “coffin.” As I looked our our receipt in disbelief, I couldn’t figure out why our meal was $26 (excluding tip)? It consisted of an order of onion rings and two Papa burgers, one with extra tomato; which I might add was an extra .20c! I compare this “snack” to the meal we had at 5 Guys and Fries a month earlier (which was $10 more; two burgers, one small fries [which is equal to two elsewhere] and a milk shake) So final decison, we will make this kind of desperate choice less often and find somewhere else to go where our dollar will go farther and have a better...
Read moreI don't do reviews in general but the service has gone so down hill in recent months that I can't stand it anymore. A&W is by far my favorite fast food chain and this place used to offer good food, good service. But in the past months both had went downhill. The food quality became inconsistent. Food-wise, sometimes the sausage of my All Canadian special comes lukewarm or half cold which never happened before. The apple juice I ordered today also came very watered down. In terms of service, it had went downhill but generally acceptable. However the server is had today was especially frustrating. She took my order, confirmed that I ordered a small apple juice twice which was fine. Then, the person who ordered after me gets their food first, and when I received my food, she forgot to get me the apple juice. I reminded her nicely, and after she confirmed, I proceeded to go eat my food. For the entire duration of my meal, I was not served the drink, nor was i given any signal that it was ready to be grabbed by the counter. When I was finished with my meal, I went back to the counter to ask for it for the second time, at which point i was served a watered down cup of the apple juice I ordered. I used to love this place but the past few times I've been here had been very disappointing. I really hope their management reads this, reconsider their changes...
