We stopped in on Monday around 6pm, it was very quiet with only a handful of tables occupied. The staff was very nice and greeted us. Since it was slow they were a bit preoccupied doing side duties but were quick to get us anything we needed.

There was a few issues with the food, my partner did enjoy the fish and chips! I got a poutine and Chicken Caesar salad, my poutine was drowning in gravy. I am a fan of gravy but not whenever it makes the dish soupy and all the fries soggy. It was actually swimming in gravy and I could only take a couple bites before it was too soggy. My Caesar had to be scooped rather than piercing the lettuce with my fork. Just very soft lettuce that made it difficult to eat. I can work around that but my chicken was also very dry. The bacon and garlic bread was good though!!

I can’t say enough good things about this Sam’s! I live out of town and wanted to surprise my Grampy with one of his favorite meals, liver and onions, for his 88th birthday. Coordinating the delivery from afar felt like it might be a challenge, but the staff went above and beyond to help me pull it off.

Not only did they take my order over the phone with ease, but they also made sure everything arrived right on time, making my Grampy’s day extra special. The kindness, care, and attention to detail were simply outstanding. It’s so rare to find a place where the people genuinely care about their customers like this. My Grampy was thrilled, and the food was absolutely delicious!

The Soup: Hearty, as promised. However many chicken soups I've eaten in my life this is how it's supposed to taste. Homemade but no.. actually homemade!

Hot Chicken Sandwich: I love me a hot__ sandwich, beef, chicken, hamburger whatever the protein. I should have snapped a photo. The amount of perfectly juicy white meat on this sandwich is ridiculous - huge portion - love love loved it. Gravy was delicious, fries are a requisite side to a hot chicken.

I am so happy I found this place! Staff are great, friendly and attentive! Prices are amazing and the portions are superior!
