Pizzeria Du Lac — Restaurant in Coteau-du-Lac

I feel very torn about writing this, but feel an accurate review of this place is in order. The owner was very nice, super nice which is why I feel bad writing an accurate description of the food. The ingredients were fresh as many people have stated. The sauce had good flavor. The crust on this pizza is the problem. It was doughy and soggy and it was not possible to eat a slice of this as a slice of pizza should be eaten. It was borderline raw dough. I think perhaps the oven used does not heat to a hot enough temperature to properly cook the pizza and the result is a soggy soupy mess. We were not able to eat all of the pizza we ordered because it was basically pizza...

Great! Stayed at the motel down the road and ordered large pizza and 30 wings which came with fries, coleslaw, and gravy. They cut up the pizza really well knowing we're under equipped in a motel room. Also packed plenty of cutlery/salt/pepper/napkins. Wish they threw in some ketchup but I guess I should have asked for some.

Food was all quite good! Wings were not greasy, fries were fresh and crispy, and fried in clean oil. Coleslaw tasted nicely homemade, gravy was good, and pizza was great. Fully cooked through the middle, a little crispy on the crust and loaded with bacon.

Would order...

I'm not one to complain much or really care at all but this pogo I received is a bit hilarious lol. Overcooked almost burnt on one side and extremely undercooked on the other. Pizza was alright, great crust and cheese. Not a fan of the sauce though, tasted like my granny's spaghetti sauce to me. That's just personal taste though. Fast delivery, Cheap. I'd probably order somewhere...
