A&W Canada — Restaurant in Creston

Well based on some of the other food complaints here see that this Creston A&W has food issues. First visit to this place and ordered an Egger & Cheese combo meal on english muffin for hubby. Have been to exceptional A&W’s where these are made perfect. This egger was horrible. The english muffin was not toasted and the bun was old/hard. When hubby opened it looked like it had been sitting around for a while and needed to be chucked, despite this was morning breakfast. The coffee was good. The staff are very cold and overall would be hard pressed to go back here. Also found the prices much higher than other A&W’s in BC as was noted in other reviews. Definitely not your typical A&W experience. Disappointing overall. And by the multiple negative reviews on here appears the mgmt isn’t concerned.

Update: So tried to give them a second chance and went in for coffees and ordered another egg sandwich. Explained to the gal my last experience and asked for a fresh sandwich. She says they will but then a few seconds later hands me the sandwich which wouldn’t imply fresh made. Get it home and sure enough the bun is so hard its difficult to chew. I give up on this place. Its too bad as there are few places to eat in the town and A&W is usually a nice go to, but not here. An egg sandwich ain’t complex and I can do way...

One meal. We ordered one single meal. It took almost half an hour to get it, and instead of making the food and apologizing for the wait, the staff were standing around laughing about how busy it was. Of course it was busy, no one was getting their food! I drive through Creston several times a year and every time we've stopped here the service has been very poor. But this time it was a total joke. We will never return to this location and will take our business elsewhere.

In the meantime, here's a tip : when you have a job you should work while you're there. Make the food, handle the clients and keep them happy. The amount of times e were asked what we ordered was insane. This is your job. Don't ask us where...

We had valid coupons. But because they said their “Teen Burgers” are currently on sale they could NOT HONOUR THE COUPON! We asked how much 2 Teen Burger meals would be. And the difference was almost $2 more than what the Coupon was offering…. $2 isn’t a lot…. But it’s more the principle. If you send out coupons that are valid, they should be honoured. On top of it, the two teenage girls treated us rudely…. And when we questioned them about it? They said “We don’t make the rules”. And “”How is this our fault!?” I don’t respect a company who won’t honour their own coupons…. I won’t be returning…. It’s dishonest…. ...
