Friendly and knowledgeable staff. One young lady delayed her lunch to interact and play educational games with our kids. My boys also loved the model trains on the upper floor which is a replica of Creston during the railroad era.
The museum captured the history of Creston and area very well. There's an extensive collection of farming equipment. The grounds are well maintained, including a heirloom garden.

Coming to this small hidden place with basically no expectations, but with the expectations I had, it definitely past them. There was lots of rooms with old artifacts that people put a lot of time making and there were plenty of old cars outside to see like a ford T1 from 1921.
Overall, if you are in Creston it is a nice small place to check out, very worthy...

The old miners tunnels, railroad and lumber machinery is mind boggling to think this is all they had and the ingenuity that they had to build these things.
