Well I have to say my visit here for the first time was a surprise. I have been living here for a year and have been meaning to try it.
My mom and I were out running errands and stopped by for breakfast. When we walked in, it was a delightful burst of yellow with a vintage farmhouse vibe. I was all eyes scouring the chalk board for specials and looking at all the vintage pictures and collectibles.
The restaurant was packed but there were two free tables, and most of the seated tables had their food already, so we sat down. Within 10 minutes of getting there, those guests eating had paid and left, leaving 3 tables including us.
we were served our coffees quickly and put in our orders.
Some highlights worth mentioning is the parking in the back. The front parking lot is tiny but there is lots around back.
The other delight was the gluten free options. i was able to have toast for the first time since starting keto.
I got a two-egg omelette and my mom got the 2-2-2 which was 2 egg 2 bacon 2 toast. We both enjoyed our meals.
So why 4 stars instead of 5? We waited 45 minutes for our meal from the time we ordered. It was worth the wait and they may have been short staffed, but we were definitely wowed by a great meal, friendly staff and a...
Read moreFelt scammed. Went for breakfast and got served the most basic plastic tiny bagel - without any sides nothing…. And not even a salad… just leaves of green thrown on a tiny plate….. 2 people total for 2 plain flavourless sandwiches and a plate of lettuce leaves was almost 50$…. I’d feel more full and happy eating McDonald’s and I hate fast food…. Very disappointed . Update: Her response is a lie too….. it’s a French lady with an Amish waitress working. Go check for yourself. We are free to make real reviews…..Sorry protecting other vulnerable customers, I’m a chef, so make honest reviews. Save your $ & time , go to the Fish & Chips up the road and get a FULL meal that you and your spouse can share for almost half the price. That’s just my honest opinion, take it...
Read moreGreat amazing food. Service was ok. We were served well initially but then when we got our food no one checked in until half way through or more. Our kids wanted ketchup so waiting for the server wasn't ideal. The when we were done we wanted to try the crepes cause we heard they are amazing and no one even asked us if we wanted dessert. Price was on the higher side for portions but as i said the food was good. No kids menu but they split the food for us for the kids and everything is easy to split. They do have kid toys to keep kids happy. Overall food gets a 5 star rating. Service would be a 3 star as towards the end the lady was very welcoming and friendly. So if you want great food it's the place to go. A nice local family run...
