We order from here at least twice a week usually, and have spent a massive amount of money in the past couple of years by ordering from here on a regular basis. The inconsistency in serving sizes has gotten drastically worse in the last couple of months, between the same items within an order, and a large variation from day to day, which is not acceptable for a reputable business whatsoever.
I have started in the past month, using a food scale to weigh the items in each order, as soon as I take the items from the bags. There is a MASSIVE difference in the servings.
Tonight our order was placed over the phone and picked up, instead of ordering through a delivery app, and it is BY FAR the smallest servings we've ever gotten. We both ordered the same thing and one container has far less than the other, and they are both LESS than half full containers either way. They used to have full containers, not half full or less. I'm not sure why they seem to have no weighing system or other way to ensure consistent serving sizes, but that is not acceptable. Unsure if this is a cook issue, or a management issue, but either way it is horrible business practice. Their spring rolls are also becoming insanely greasy compared to previously, so I'm unsure if it's a new cook or cooks.
There are multiple comments from the last year saying the same with inconsistent serving sizes, so clearly they do not care to fix their issues.
I've attached photos of the items on the food scale, and both containers together on the scale (which both together still weigh LESS than what ONE of their usual full containers of a correct serving size weighs). Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant, and I feel it’s important to share. As a Hindu, I strictly avoid beef as cows are considered sacred in my faith. I ordered a chicken dish, but unfortunately, what was served to me was beef. I accidentally tasted it, which caused me immediate distress. I brought the issue to the server’s attention, and while they did replace the dish, the entire handling of the situation was appalling. The server spent most of the time on her phone and was eating her own food while we were the only customers in the restaurant. It was clear that our concerns were not a priority for her. To make matters worse, after we expressed our dissatisfaction, the server didn’t acknowledge the mistake, apologize, or show any empathy for the situation. The entire experience was a display of carelessness and rudeness, leaving me feeling completely disrespected. I strongly urge the management to take action regarding this issue. Customers deserve better, especially when it comes to respecting dietary restrictions, religious sensitivities and providing basic customer service. Read moreThis used to be very good, but the last time was truly awful. It was like they were using up leftovers from the night before, which is possible as we ordered take out on a Monday. Where do I start...the mango salad was small and had tired wilted herbs...too sweet and no balance...mangos were overripe. Pad tie was really "ketchup", the shrimp were dry, and the tofu was dry as well. Pad see ew tasted like fish sauce and nothing else. The order was over $90, which is fine considering tasty leftovers for the next day, but as we could barely eat the food the first time around, most of it ended up in the compost. I phoned them tonight to express my disappointment. To be clear, I simply wanted to let them know how bad it was, no refund, no coupon...just an apology. The lady I spoke with said a manager would get back to me. They phoned 5 minutes later, and it was the same person I had initially spoken to. She told me the manager didn't want to speak, and started reciting Cha Baa's policy of returning the food that was "subpar". I said that I simply wanted to speak to the manager, and I couldn't return the food as by the time we sat down to eat, the restaurant was closed. NEVER AGAIN!
