Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Dartmouth

So i have been coming to the Main St location for at least 3-4 yrs. Since the changes in management, as well as all the letting go of incredible staff, this place has gone to the dogs!! I come EVERY day & the quality & QUANTITY of the specific item i purchase is a complete disgrace!!! Somehow, staff do not understand what “FILL TO THE TOP” & 5 PUMPS” mean! That’s pretty basic info is it not! The fact i have to tell them EVERY time is completely ridiculous & they still don’t get it!!! I get a cup full of ice cream with a tiny bit of toppings. I spend $24 EVERY DAY, 7 days a week, that’s $168/week and they seem to think because i come there so often that they can skimp on my orders!!! The staff are not very friendly & seem to have attitude when i come back & tell them to do it over. This place is not what it used to be & its all because of new management/owners & staff. I just left there & my blizzards are half full when I ordered a large & this happens every day & im at my breaking point with this place. If i wanted a medium i would have ordered a medium!!!! And im still charged for a large. I used to tip $2.50 EVERY time but no more!!! Now, they get NO TIP. They NEVER flip my blizzards upside down but i see they do it with everyone else.. They know me by name thats how often i go. I have found hair in my blizzards!!! I just want to say I have never experienced such great customer service in my life then I did last night. Here's a little back story, my 5 year old had been having a rough week with bullies at school. We decided we were going to head to the cottage to have some him time.. at the last minute my husband's work had an emergency which entailed him working all weekend which was really disappointed our son. So we decided we would take him out for supper and desert anywhere he wanted, to try to make up for the plans changing. For desert he chose Dairy Queen, so we went in to get some ice cream. We were greeted by the most poilite man, he was smiling and made us feel welcome. After taking our order he asked my 5 year old if he would like to make his own ice cream. The staff made him wait beside the counter so he was safe until a lovley lady came and took his hand and led him to the ice cream mashine. They told us we could come take pictures but unfortunately we forgot our phones in the truck. When my son walked around the corner with the ice cream he helped make, he was glowing. This will forever be a core memory for him and he cannot wait to tell his teacher on Monday. While eating his ice cream last night he was saying he wanted to work at dairy queen when he's older. So thank you to all the staff who went above and beyond for my son. You truly do not know how much he needed that. Thank you so much for caring about...

The cakes are great and so Is the food so that's OK ....but the staff need to be a little happier and less snotty. Also serving their friends should be the same as the service for everyone else, I had asked if I could get a little extra icing around the rim of the cake I was getting and the employee (makayla) looked at me with a cocked eye brow and said "ahhh we dont have icing just like sitting around for every body to just have...like it gets made specifically for what ever cake is getting made" in a super pissy tone, and then as she turned to take the cake out back to get someone to do the writing on it said like Jesus christ". Now all that kind of sucked but to top it all off the girl who got a cake in front of me was her friend and when the same employee called her to come get the cake the whole top of the cake was covered in about 6 different colors of the icing that I had asked for, and the girl who bought the cake seen my jaw open and she said in a playful voice" I don't like the gel they use for the writing so she's my friend and knows I like the icing so I get her to coat it in it every time I come here" I was pissed off that I was talked to like I was stupid and...
