We predominantly speak English and so we started our order in English, the woman on the intercom didn’t try to meet us halfway even though we tried our best to order in French when we heard her accent. It was a struggle because my boyfriend in the drivers seat is English only but we got it done. Once we got our food I realized an addition to a burger wasn’t added so i mentione it and the girl at the window acted as if i was being a hassle asking for what i had ordered. She kept closing the window, rolled her eyes and was talking with the two other women in there. I had asked for the ladies name who took our order which she turned around and closed the window once more before smirking and turning around and telling us her name is Dorthey; which I doubt. I’ve worked in customer service and this is a prime example of how NOT to treat loyal paying customers. Just because we’re in Quebec doesn’t give the right to DISCRIMINATE against anyone! Good location but The WORST A&W I ever ate at. The Mozaburger had 1 wilted piece of lettuce and a crushed old tomato... The oignon rings were drenched in oil...old oil as they were burnt and black. Bag they served them in also drenched and discoloured with oil....no metal basket for them. My hands were shiny with oil just moving it around Got partiel refund, didn't look at amount... Got a cod burger, fries and root beer a couple of weeks ago. Got on the highway before tasting everything. Found out that the root beer was nothing more than carbonated water, undrinkable. On my last trip to A&W, I told them about it when I reordered exactly the same meal. At the window, the manager gave me my meal and would not take any money. I was only looking to perhaps, have my root beer replaced. As a client, I could not be more satisfied, and the cod burger is still the best by far. I wish that they would keep it on the menu all year round....
