We got stuck in traffic at the tunnel so diverted to try the casino out. It was a great experience right off the bat AND happened to be within Happy Hour. We parked and I was sure it would be a 30min walk to find the restaurant, but up the escalator and its right there. Its a very pretty place, modern and hip decor, great lighting, seats are crazy cushy comfortable. Bathrooms smelled great, very clean and beautifully done (even the paper towel was LONG). Cons are although lots of windows, no views to see and would not want to be outside due to freeway. Also, there are not a lot of tables so probably gets busy easy and if you can't wait, there's really nowhere nearby to try instead Talked to 2 waiters and both were interesting and fun. The first one explained all the meals. We were surprised the daily special was ALL DAY not just happy hour: ours was any pasta dish for $13. We drank $6 beers (7.50 normally). I got the Cajun seafood spaghettini and wife did Ultimate Mac N cheese (with pulled pork). I said to my wife the only thing that can wreck it at this point is if they tank the food. They did not. Manager brings us the food. Great presentation. First dish in the pics is the mac n cheese. It was f'n banging, like hardcore... so rich and perfectly seasoned, tons of pulled pork, delicious pasta, and so filling. It could've used a veggie but was near perfection. 9/10 I had to reread my dish as I didn't realize it came with Ahi tuna... for $13? Prawns, a nice refined flavour, pasta was again delicious and came WITH a spoon, big chunks of garlic and prawn. While overall very good, it was slightly underseasoned and a bit too much oil. 7/10. Both were normally $21 dishes, which makes way more sense. We walked out very satisfied. easily an 8.5/10 overall experience. It should've been over $100 for 4 beers and 2 meals of that quality but it came to just $54, that def makes it a 10/10. Definitely going back.

I'll start off with a good note possibly the best beef dip of ever had but other than that nothing fantastic... Now the list all the bad. My partner had a chicken dish and ended up getting violently sick a few hours after possibly the chicken was expired because it was cooked fine. The service was a hot mess they allegedly got very busy when we showed up but it was maybe 10%. Iv seen 7-Eleven lineups more busy. Took us a while to get set down it took quite a long time to get drinks and food at one point in time the bartender came out to us and took her drinks but said she couldn't take our order cuz I was up to our server even though we're ready to order. We were sad quite close to the bar and from where I was sitting and either direct line of sight to the bartender and she kept blowing her nose and touching her face and her hair with her hands and I didn't want see her use a sink to wash your hands or anyting she would just handle money and handle food. Definitely not food safe.

First time visiting a Match Eatery & Public House location, and this restaurant (located inside of Cascades Casino in Delta) did not disappoint! Our server Sam was incredible - she was attentive, friendly and on point. We were there for a fun event - Uncensored Comedy Night hosted by renowned Vancouver Comedy Ring - and the atmosphere was buzzing, patrons were laughing and it was a great vibe. The menu has diverse food options, and our dishes were delicious. The manager Rick Tite was welcoming and his team did a fantastic job that night. We will be back again soon! SECOND Review - did my birthday party in the private room at Match - great space with billiards table, TVs, music, and more. Char aka Charlene was our bartender and server, looked after 25 guests and was legit one of the best servers in history! So friendly, on point, helpful, flexible and makes killer drinks! She was the MVP of the evening! Thank you to Karen and Rick, both wwre lovely to deal with.

We ate here with our friends and got a very horrible waitress. She is an old lady named Sandra. Ps restaurant was not even busy. First, she gave us food w/o any utensils. I asked another lady who passed by for utensils and she could not here me so my bf who’s sitting beside her said I was asking for spoon and fork for 4 of us. She still questioned us if we wanted “cutlery” ?! Like is she being rude or what? We ignored her and said yes. This girl came back and gave us spoon and fork. After couple mins Sandra came in and ask if everything is good (very nice of her). One of my guy friend followed up about his missing order. He told he ordered a calamari which we even heard him ordered it. Instead of saying “sorry i can get that for you” she checked her note and rudely said “I was never told that” to begin with she did not even double check our order. We then again very unhappy w/ her. Couple mins she saw some plates are empty and took it. Then came back right away and she saw that we’re still not done with one of our food instead of asking if were done or not she said “ whats….going on what..going with this” we told her to give us few mins. She keeps passing by with rude face, again we ignored. She then came back again stood in-front of us w/o saying anything . So we just told her we’re done and we asked the bill. She didn’t asked if we’re going to split the bill. As soon as we told her, she just left and came back and when we told her we’re splitting. She said “nobody told me that. Came back and just talked to us loooked at us rudely. When my bf were putting in his payment (trying to pay) Sandra didn’t even give him privacy she looked while my bf was putting in payment (very rude). When she saw my bf did not give her tip. She complained and said “why are you not giving me tip” “Are you not giving tip” my bf replied “no”. First of all tips are not mandatory. Tips are given to people that serve well or gives a good costumer service. When my other friend maid his payment and was only given $3 tip. She then said she was sorry we did not have a good night in a really rude toned of voice. She then started telling us “ so you guys no if you guys dont tip I still have to pay the kitchen and etc. We are not dumb why would you even work if you need to pay to work? When we left we talked and complained to a Manager named Trevor. We told him everything how we get treated by Sandra. First he said he’s going to talk to somebody and he might give us a gift card since she treated us like that. Then he came back said that they will warn her instead, which we hope. And I hope she was not being racist to us or treated like that because we were young compared to others that was around us. The fact that she was an elderly lady. I’m disappointed as we expect that they should be a role model for younger but Sandra is disappointment. When you have personal issue dont bring it to work. Work is work. Being rude to someone because you’re going through something is not a good excuse. It’s stupid to make that as an excuse. Nobody deserves to be treated badly just because you’re having your “own” issues. Hope she can still learn to be a good person...

Recently, I went to the matches restaurant and was enjoying our night even though it was a little dead for a Sunday. We ordered over $200+ of food and drinks, which was decent.

Unfortunately, in one of the dishes, our guests found a large piece of glass, which was ebarrarising and dangerous. It was given to the server immediately.

No manager had the courtesy to approach and appoligize, it was like pulling teeth to get anyone out of their office or so called pre existing obligations in a completely empty restaurant. I dont enjoy being confirtational but I did ask for a manager because it was a matter of principle, I waited 45 mins for a manager and thought i would receive humane service and get at minimal, some sort of appoligy but inturn some pompus so called random official to say they would give us $20 off based on the dishes we ordered, which was valued at $20..

At this point, keep your $20, not here for a handout.. no one cared, and it seemed like a regular occurrence based on their reaction.

I paid the ridiculous BS adjustments when I probably should have just walked out

Embarrising for your restaurant and how you treat customers.. my life is worth $20?, not being dramatic. Your management needs to get off thier asses and literally address customer concerns and practice food safety. I am in the food industry, and this is just dirty practice or complete negligence, and no person in management deserves to be there.. hire decent management. Would fire anyone like this in a second, and I'm a pretty forgiving employer.

Servers and bar staff were exceptional and deserved recognition regardless of the example of their absolutely garbage management staff are putting forth.

Hopefully, in the future, this establishment will take these matters a little more seriously and actually do something rather than just sit there and collect a paycheck.

Definitely a lawsuit waiting to happen, and I have pictures but would be happy with improvement in staff or retraining.

Owners and shareholders, please ask for past experiences and do rigorous interviews to get the best candidates so these garbage candidates dont slip through the cracks..

Good luck, every guest experience is different and competent management staff need to know how to address circumstances. This was a serious matter and no one skipped a beat and completely ignored the incident.. very disturbing but all i can wish is good luck in the future and keeping patrons...
