I came here just to try the dinner buffet but I don't think it'll come back because the food quality isn't great. There were a lot more things i did not like compared to the things i kind of liked. I can’t recommend the dinner buffet at their full price of $30 per person. The food quality is not good enough to warrant such a price. Out of all the food I tried, the only thing i really liked the cheesecake at the dessert bar. The buffet is a decent choice for dinner if you happen to get your hands on a coupon like the $10 discount or the buy one get one free deal they give out from time to time. As for the soups, the coconut curry soup was too watery and didn’t taste like anything. I couldn't finish it. As for the salads, I took some coleslaw. It tasted alright. I only took it so my meal would be more balanced with veggies. As for desserts, the cheesecake was very good. It wasn’t overly sweet which is good. I noticed it was taken very quickly from other customers at the buffet but it was replenished quick by staff. The chocolate cake bar slices were too sweet. It was sickly sweet. It had caramel drizzle on top of double chocolate breading and icing. Didn’t like it. I was disappointed that some dessert menu items were not at the buffet table. Under feature desserts, on the menu displayed at the front of the register, it says jello was included but there were none. There were no cookies either. I’m not sure why was it listed when it wasn’t included. As for the mains, the pot roast with gravy didn’t have enough gravy. It was too dry for my liking. I couldn’t eat a lot of it because there was too much fat. The meat portions that I tasted was just OK. the cheese mashed potatoes were very plain. they were bits of melted cheddar cheese with bits of potato skin inside. Worst part was that there was no gravy included. Who eats mashed potatoes without gravy? I kinda liked the spring rolls. They were on the salty side but they still tasted alright. The fish with garlic butter sauce was alright. The garlic butter sauce barely added any flavor though. It really needs to be seasoned for it taste very good. The ravioli pasta was alright. It could use a little more sauce though. You really need to season it first for it to taste any good. The rest of the food, such as the chicken wings and the veggie stir fry, didn’t interest me. Drink selections were plentiful. The soda machine was a coca cola freestyle with many types of pop to choose from. My root beer soda tasted great. They also have coffee, hot chocolate, and juice. The apple juice and hot chocolate drinks were good quality. The staff were friendly and fast. At opening time, there was a line at the register and the attendant was quick at taking payments to get the line moving. The servers were quick in taking any used plates at the table. When food was getting low at the buffet, the cooks were fast at replacing them. Tables were clean quickly by the staff after each use. The place was only maybe 30-40% full at most during my visit. It was pretty quiet and you could get your food at the buffet table with barely any wait.

Honestly it was really good. Compared to when we went last year, I enjoyed the meat more this time around. We went on Valentines Day and it was pretty busy. The food was restocking rapidly so the food we were getting was very hot. I think that's better than coming on a slow day. We enjoyed the tender chicken and the savory char siu pork. I liked the French Onion Soup. The vegetables were served uncooked and unseasoned, including the corn cob so I'd skip that next time. The salad bar comes first so they strategically fill your plate with greens first. The bean salad was good. The spring rolls and beer battered cod had a perfect crisp crunch. Husband enjoyed the rice. I especially enjoyed the desserts. The best was their featured Smores Cannoli, it was gooey and hot and rich. They had jelly cups but they ran out before I could get them. The Nanaimo Bars and muffins were good. Watermelon was perfect, didn't try the grapes just cause grapes are always a gamble lol. They had cheesecakes which were running out fast, which they then replaced with red velvet cake. They also had Oreo cake cups. The area was much cleaner than it was last year. Drinks wise they have sodas, sweet teas, tea bags, coffees and juices. I enjoyed a passionfruit guava juice and a coke. For the price of $29 it beats the River Rock Buffet that's $10 more. If you're a big eater then it's a good value. We'll definitely come back!

Edited based on 12/15 visit with a two for one deal. Seriously I shouldn't complain with a 50% discount, but the menu was very unsettling for me. I wish people running the kitchen would make up their minds. You put out a buffet with two kinds of asian soup "miso and wonton", all cold salads, good mix of deep fried appies, very thick battered veggie tempura, but all asian hot foods, a nice roast beef without any sort of potatoes or fries, gravy that is tasteless. How can someone have a complete meal with this menu? Roast beef goes with rice or Singapore noodles and miso soup?? If only catering to asian taste, why bother to put out roast beef and a salad bar? Small buffets are hard to please all, perhaps running different theme nights? I revise my rating to 2 stars. Very happy to try the dinner buffet, although I saw Asian cooks but they don't do Asian dishes well, but still enough food options for me, and I will definitely come back to try the brunch. Loved borscht, roast pork loin, sauteed vegetables and pies very much. Buffet includes soda and coffee/tea.

Our family of 3 (mom, dad and 10 yr old) went for the brunch buffet last week (Sunday, Sept. 1) It was a terrible experience. The lady that works at the front is very lovely and we always look forward to seeing her. She is the only good thing about this buffet. It was busy but it wasn't at capacity. When we went to get our brunch we noticed there was not much food available. The first thing noticed was there wasn't any salad. Salad dressing available but no salad to put it on. As we went down the line we saw there were scrambled eggs, a few French toast and a few pancakes. All were lukewarm-cold. Sausages, bacon, hash browns and eggs benedict trays were empty. There was old looking rice and cauliflower further down but chicken and fish trays were also empty. These empty trays were empty for at least 15 minutes while we and others waited for them to be filled. No staff around to ask what was happening. No one coming out to let people know when hot food would come out. I asked the lady at the register and she didn't know. Finally 2 trays came out. Eggs Benedict and chicken. We took the eggs Benedict and chicken. We were still quite put off that nothing else was put out but went to our table to start. Scrambled eggs were completely cold by the time we sat down. French toast was cold and tasteless. My husband and daughter said the chicken wasn't good. The worst was the horrible eggs Benedict. The eggs were poached very hard and they were extremely small eggs. The English muffin had not been toasted and just sliced open with the food put on top. The hollandaise was the worst of it all. It was watery and all you could taste was vinegar. It was gross. I took the plate and complained to the lady clearing tables. She told me I had to complain to the kitchen. So I went to the line and saw a worker walking in. I stopped her and told her how bad it was. She shrugged her shoulders and started walking back. I said take the plate back to the kitchen and tell them. She refused and left. The nice employee at the register came and took the plate. My husband went to the front to get a refund. There was no way we were chancing eating there after how bad the eggs benedict were. She called the manager. Manager came, gave excuses and eventually refunded our money. Another customer after us was also getting a refund. When we left, the trays were still empty including the salad. All in all, don't waste your money. If you go, see if there is food available and if it looks edible. Take a good look. We...

We live in Tsawwassen and tried The Buffet first time for dinner on a Saturday night with a 2 for 1 coupon. We arrived at around 4:45pm and the line up was already a mile long. Unbeknownst to us, reservations can be made to avoid like us waiting over 1.5 hours to get a table. But, we now know better...make reservations ahead of time. The huge problem at this venue were mainly the diners themselves. Hoardes of Asians cut in the line, demanding to be seated when they are party of 6 but only tables of 2 available. The icing on the cake was an Asian gentleman who walked into the restaurant and started getting food and eating without having paid in advance!!!! Luckily, the manager and assistant managers were both on it and caught him. What a disgrace! The management were working so hard themselves, sweeping, apologizing to diners for the long wait and the rude customers getting tables on their own like free for all. Five stars go out to the people working at this restaurant. It is obvious that they are short staff so all management were hands on. For the entire restaurant, we saw only 2 servers working so hard and diners really need to recognize all their hard work and tip them!

It was a Saturday night so it was prime rib....quite tender and quite good but they were out of the rare so only med well done left unless you want to wait another 20mins for a new roast to come out. There were other proteins like butter chicken drumsticks, 5 spice spare ribs, fish with a type of curry sauce. Salad bar was quite extensive and everything was very fresh and it was being filled quite frequently. There was penne carbonara, onion rings, egg rolls, mash potatoes and etc. Dessert had a quite a few offerings of cakes like cheesecakes, carrot cake, nanaimo bars and etc. Unlimited soft drinks, coffee, and tea.

I would not suggest returning on a day with a 2 for 1 but definitely dine on a Saturday prime rib at regular price.

Big suggestion...they should have SECURITY posted at the entrance to the restaurant so people cannot just walk in and seat themselves without paying! This is one area that needs improvement. If security card is there with the word, "security", on their clothing, it may deter these free loafers from getting a free meal and for cutting in queue seating themselves ahead of others who are in line.

Huge applause goes out to the management and servers who work so hard in maintaining a fair queue for those in line and not allowing line skippers to...
