The place is good and the food is good as well. I went here 30 days back and the host behaved very entitled right from the beginning. He didn’t greet us, he kept reacting in way to show people that “ I might be doing this server job but I am also the owner of this place. Or atleast thats how he made me feel. When we entered we said hey hi how are you and he did bother to reply. Then he kept was waiting for 3-4 mins while he was doing nothing. then he came and said you can sit anywhere which is free so I said I didn’t get it cause you could have just said that earlier. But he thought that I was deaf and literally he repeated the same words in a high pitch with less accent ( you can pick and table that’s free) I was so embarrassed and confused. you can see my pictures you will notice I have ordered 80-90 cad worth of food and wine and the restaurant was almost empty yet he chose to come to our table late. The way he collected our order was so different I’ve never felt so embarrassed in any restaurant. For a while I started questioning myself am I not allowed to be here why is this person behaving like that to me but he didn’t over do and I also didn’t get provoked so all went well and smooth.

Read moreI really enjoy Red Satay in downtown Moncton. But I LOVE this location. I was there a few months ago on a very rare dinner date with my partner. We both like these types of food, and since the opening ( I know that was years ago) we didn't step in. I'm glad we finally had time to try out this place! It was open, clean and had little unique touches that didn't take over the place but enough to notice.

Tried to order online with the very nice looking website that links to a payment page etc. but didn’t receive a confirmation email even though a transaction was confirmed with my bank account. Went to the location and asked the employee about this. The only response I received is that “online system isn’t active” and he could take my order. I explained that I’ve already paid for something and he replied that “his bank account hadn’t gotten any larger, so there was no order. What would I like to order.” In disbelief of the lack of care or service I left without ordering anything else, as there was already less money in my bank and no food in my hand. I eventually received an email from the ‘ordering site’ saying that my order hadn’t been completed and the money was returned to my account.
