I absolutely love Cacao Boys! To start with, the name is clever and the little shop is lovely. And then there's the bonbons that are to die for! The balance of the fillings and the chocolate is perfect. I love that the fruit flavours truly taste like the fruit, rather than a sugary fake version. We go out of our way to drive to Bala whenever we're staying nearby (and by nearby I mean we'll drive there whenever we're in a 1.5 hour drive radius from them...because it's worth a 3 hour return trip). I also must say that they are not only delicious chocolates, but they're also almost too pretty to eat! We can't wait until we can go back...
Read moreMy wife and I stopped in here the other day and although it was the off season for this place they had so much to choose from and it was pleasant not having to stand in line or feel like we were holding up other customers. My wife had her own bakery for 23 years and there was so much to choose from and I know how how much hard work it is. Cacao Boys has an amazing variety and its awe inspiring when you look around. Everything we got was delicious and the value was in line with what we expected to pay for top quality like they serve.

Read moreI was in Gravenhurst for the weekend and spotted this cute chocolate store while driving around on Saturday. Since it was already closed, decided to return on Sunday after seeing the 3-colour Neapolitan bar on their Instagram page,
Good decision it was. The store is super clean and looks like a true creative space with a huge number of beautiful productions from pralines, chocolate bars, to chocolate covered goodies.
The owner, I presume, and the lady who was serving me were nice and helpful, she explained how the praline sets worked and what the popular ones were.
