Maple Pub & Patio — Restaurant in District Municipality of Muskoka

Got stuck at the front entrance waiting to be seated as we requested a spot outside. (there is a" please wait to be seated" sign) However guests were able to walk on from the outside area and take up all the tables without being seated by staff causing us to wait. Ok fine no big deal dealt with it and waited for a spot.

However the issue came from the food quality. For such a nice resort the food was awful. I never complain about food , like ever ... But for the costs I expected at least mediocre. Ribs were overcooked , came with zero sauce (menu said BBQ sauce). My kids Burger Cam cold and was the quality of boxed burgers from a grocery store.

Was the first place we ate while on vacation and I regret not leaving the resort to eat now.

Staff were pleasant and it's a beautiful view of the lake. My wifes breaded fish was good as well. So maybe I got unlucky or it's an off day. But changes should...

Went their twice during our March break trip. Small, of course they are banking on the patio being used and in the warmer months I am sure it is. Food was okay, not poor, not great. Longer wait for your food despite having only four other sets of people there. The second time we went was worse. The large ceasar salad was barely a salad. They spread it all over a large plate to make it look like it's huge, it's not and I was definitely still hungry afterwards and I am usually full after a "normally" large ceasar salad. What really upset us the most was seeing other families getting served BEFORE us, despite us having arrived well in advance of them and they were not reserved prior to their arrival. Despite that we still gave our server a pretty decent tip, despite not deserving it at all. We won't need to worry about going back as we won't be headed to...

We went for a quick dinner at Maple. It was a warm sunny day, and the patio view was stunning. Our server, Kaelyn, was so welcoming right off the bat and made our first experience here amazing! There was a dance competition that day so the patio was quite busy with large parties of guests coming in to eat. Kaelyn stayed on top of the rush while still checking in and serving us in a timely manner! She paid attention to detail and gave us the inside scoop of her recommendations on the menu, which were delicious choices! The steak was melt in your mouth delicious, and the chicken sandwich was so crisp and fresh - the bacon jam made the sandwich so different from any other. Delicious food, great atmosphere.
