The first racial discriminating restaurant that I stumbled across in canada. Worst service. The waitress at bracebridge has an arrogance and doesnt care attitude.We had been to see the wonderful falls at algonquin and on our way decided to try this indian restaurant around 7pm. Mistake a very big mistake... This is where our miseries started

We Entered the restaurant, more than half restaurant was empty and the waitress was hesitant to give us table. She gave us a table like after 10 mins of thinking and we didn't force, we were just standing and waiting for her to say a yay or a nay. We had to keep reminding the waitress to take our order like 5 times in 25 mins. Basic necessity - no drinking water was served to us even after asking like 10 times. We asked for an extra soup bowl after ordering the soup and the waitress gave us a very frustrated look. We asked for some spoons and the answer that we got was no one here eats that specific dish we had ordered with a spoon so no spoons were given !! Order any curry in the menu , immediate answer is that curry is not available.. so we asked the waitress to pick for us and her answer is there are so many curries know you only choose. With limited choice we ordered 2 curries and both had uncooked raw items and it was the most tasteless curry ever eaten.

The worst experience ever, we will definitely never visit this place again nor will i suggest anyone to do so.. I am only giving a single * coz I cant give a zero. Horrible...

Zero stars we wanted to eat something INDIAN So came here, a group of 4. The moment we entered the OWNER said i can only give you table if you will TIP. We were like ok! And asked how much he said whatever you want. It was ok for to us. We ordered food the food was really tasty no doubt. We also ordered some for take out. I went to pay the bill and i tip them 10% on my $150 bill. He said no you HAVE TO PAY minimum 13% i was like why? You didn’t mentioned it before. But later on i still paid 13% thinking of m on a vacation and not to argue on such a small thing. My sister mentioned him that the service wasn’t good only the food was good. And he commented that no you had to tip because “INDIAN PEOPLE DON’T TIP” i mean what kind of racist comment was it? You opened an Indian restaurant and commented on someone’s ethnicity. That is not what I expected ever ever in a country like Canada and the shocking thing was the owner himself commented it. I asked him to cancel all my order for take out and he was like i don’t care now because you guys already paid. It was actually a harassing service which we all got. I would never return here at all and would NOT RECOMMEND!...

Pathetic! After the terrible experience at their Huntsville location on a Saturday during lunch time, we thought we will give this location a try for dinner. We called up an hour in advance to reserve a place, and the lady on the phone assured us that a table is reserved for us. When we reached there (before time), one of the other customers in the line mentioned that dine-in is not open. We couldn't believe what we were seeing, an empty dining hall and a long queue of customers all waiting for their order. There were only 2 men employees/owners there (no idea where the lady who answered the phone was at the time), and they were not even bothering to answer anyone who was in the queue. After waiting for 5 mins to try to get an answer to how come a reservation was accepted in the first place, when there is no dine-in, we just gave up and went away. Not that there was anyone who was even willing to take any new orders. Looks like there was only 1 person in the kitchen who was struggling to keep up with online orders. They really need to hire more people or to stop accepting orders that they can't...
