I’ve been a loyal Pizzaville customer for years and even worked there for a time. It used to be my go-to for great pizza, but sadly, it’s become an atrocity compared to its former self. If you’re craving pizza, save yourself the frustration, skip Pizzaville and order a fulfilling pizza from Nick’s.

The quality has dropped significantly. For instance, “extra cheese” doesn’t mean more cheese—it just means they sprinkle it on top of the toppings. I've watched this in action with my own eyes. Pro Tip If you actually want more cheese, you’re better off ordering double or triple cheese. They also consistently forget to add cheddar or feta to pizzas, even when it’s requested.

The app has an issue registering double pepperoni orders—you’ll need to call in. This problem has been around for ages, but it hasn’t been addressed. Lately the pizzas are often slightly undercooked, which seems like an attempt to increase their shelf life. I’ve started ordering mine well-done, which I shouldn’t have to do every time.

Recently, I ordered an expensive custom pizza and was delivered a plain pepperoni instead. Calling the head office about mistakes like this is pointless. After multiple issues, I was offered a single $5 coupon. This doesn't even come close to covering the cost of the toppings for the multiple pizzas I've received that were made incorrectly. Combine that with the fact that nearly every order has an error, and I’ve grown tired of complaining. Keep in mind I usually order 35-50$ per pizza, so I'm absolutely willing to spend the $$ for a quality product.

The sides aren’t any better. The Asiago Parm & Cheddar Mozza breadsticks come with almost no cheese—nothing like what’s shown in the ads or how they used to be. Worse, breadsticks are usually unavailable or way over-proofed when they are, making them pretty unpleasant. They used to be excellent, but not anymore.

Delivery times are painfully slow. Even if you live 5-10 minutes from the store, expect to wait 45-50 minutes. The in-store staff seem very very nice but turn dismissive when confronted about issues. I’m not sure if it’s a language barrier or just a front to avoid dealing with complaints.

Overall, Pizzaville has fallen far from what it used to be. Between the declining food quality, constant mistakes, and poor customer service, I’ve given up. I really hope this google review prompts a review of their procedures and hopefully brings back some of their better qualities. I'll give it a try in a few years or if it changes...

We don't order takeout very often, so it is considered a treat to us- the last time we ordered pizza we got it from Pizzaville and it was just ok, but we decided to give them another chance. Last night we ordered pizza late in the evening (arrived by delivery at 8:30pm): a large pizza, 4 garlic strips and wings. The delivery driver was wonderful and pleasent (which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1)

Our pizza, unfortunately for us, was still raw in the center and the toppings were not cooked. I used my pizza stone and tried to fix the situation, and although it did crisp up the top and cook the toppings, the pizza crust itself was mush. Very disappointing for us. The wings were ok and the garlic strips were about a 5/10.

I am sorry to say that I will now be ordering from Dominos or 241. I am not sure why our pizza came delivered to us not cooked but unfortunately it has forever turned us...

Worst pizza ever! Pizzaville is usually my go to but this was my first time at the Bracebridge location. We waited for slices as they only had 1 cheese slice available at 3:00 on a Friday (with 5-6?employees in site)!! I prepaid for them while I was waiting and didn’t see them before they were bagged up for us. The lady working there clearly has no sense of urgency as she was the slowed Pizzaville employee I have EVER seen!!! When we opened the bag in the car the pizza was completely undercooked, there was WAY to much sauce on it (literally sauce slid off slice and pooled in bottom of bag) and the undercooked crust was as thin as paper!!
