A Memorable Experience at McDonald’s in Muskoka I recently visited Muskoka for the first time, and as the sign at the entrance says—“when it's discovered, it's never forgotten.” That couldn’t be more true, especially because of my experience at the local McDonald’s. Whenever I travel to a new city or country, I always choose McDonald’s because it's a trusted franchise—I know what I’m eating and I feel comfortable. This time, I stopped at the Muskoka location and was genuinely impressed. Right away, I saw a young lady with a warm, beautiful smile helping a truck driver unload and stock supplies. She was full of energy and seemed to be everywhere at once. Inside the store, I saw her again, checking how everything was running. The way she moved and carried herself made me feel like she was the owner—she cared that much.
The service and food were amazing, and the atmosphere in the restaurant felt positive and well-managed. I even checked the restroom (even though I didn’t use it), and it was spotless. Later, I saw her again outside, checking the garbage bins to make sure everything was clean. Curious and impressed, I asked her name. I was expecting her to wonder why, but instead she answered kindly and confidently, still smiling. She told me her name was Stephanie—at least I hope I remember it right. That simple moment confirmed everything I had felt: she is professional, humble, and truly cares about her work. I’ve visited many countries before coming to Canada, and I can honestly say this was one of the best McDonald’s experiences I’ve had. My last visit to McDonald’s in Playa del Carmen, Mexico was the opposite. But this store, this city, and that incredible lady made me feel happy and welcomed.
Thank you, Stephanie, and the whole team, for such a...
Read moreIf I could give this McDonald’s zero stars, I would I have been going to this McDonald’s every day for the past five years and for the past two years, it has gone extremely downhill, every morning I have ordered the same thing tea and coffee every morning. it’s the same thing no sugar burnt coffee with coffee grinds And the tea is always made wrong different teabags milk cream. They never get it right. I have also ordered food from this restaurant and don’t even eat it. I have reached out to the manager that handles the Bracebridge and Gravenhurst restaurants. he responded at first and said he would help but now does not respond to anything I have sent pictures among pictures order receipts and as far as one time I ordered a medium tea took a couple sips ended up with something hard in my mouth opened up the tea. There was someone’s fingernail rhinestones in my tea when I brought it back into the store, The manager told me that I did it and was extremely rude, when you try to correct the staff to get your order corrected. They either argue with you or tell you that there is nothing wrong with it. The Gravenhurst McDonald’s is the worst McDonald’s in Muskoka. The customer service is horrible even the high management They have done nothing to fix people‘s experiences McDonald’s corporation should be ashamed of this location, but when trying to reach out to head office They just sent you to the store manger..This McDonald’s needs to...
Read moreSo what brings me here let me know that I am not the only person who had bad experience here. We were on our way to north passed by this one. When we travel we always trust MacDonald. So we stopped at this busy place. After in store pick-up, we backed to our car right away, didn’t think about checking the order if it was right. We were eating and keeping going, then found two hash browns missing. So we had to go back and told the girl who is calling the order number. She just told me to wait, she kept doing her things, didn’t make process about my issue. So I had to tell another girl looks like store manager, she checked in kitchen right away, seems nobody made any hash browns except the fries, then she asked me if I wanted some fries instead hash browns, I said no, then she said that I have to wait. I felt everything was fine so far, I agreed to wait. When the first girl brought me the hash browns, she seemed pretty angry and told me next time if I bring food out of store, don’t come back to get the missing pieces. I was surprised by her attitude and words, I just returned that we trusted MacDonald, and of course we will never come back here and there is not next time. This same thing happened before in other store, they just gave me the missing pieces, never said anything like this. Then I decided to come here and I get...
