My husband and I went here for the first time on Saturday evening and it will certainly be the last. The staff is slow, not very friendly and poorly trained. There was only one other customer in the shop and it took forever to get served. The prices are outrageous and don’t make any sense at all. We each ordered a gelato, although their choice of gelato flavours is very limited. I ordered a small cup (one scoop) and as shown in the photo I was charged an extra 0.87 cents for God only knows what reason. The girl serving us was really struggling and finally only managed to get about half a scoop into the cup and yet they had the audacity to charge an extra fee!! My husband ordered a medium cup (two scoops) which also ended up being two very tiny scoops. Our cups were only half filled. Almost $18 for not even two full scoops of ice cream! How can they justify this?!? I don’t know what this world is coming to. The tables and floors were also filthy. I really do not recommend this place. What a complete waste of money! I had such a great experience here. I came around 10:30pm on a Wednesday and stayed for about an hour. I ordered 2 pieces of knafeh with the gauffres fries. The knafeh was served warm and was super good and fun to eat with a friend. The gauffres fries were served warm but nothing special. I think I’ll go with gauffre served with toppings next time. The food was served fast (15min wait). The gentleman at the counter was very sweet and served us everything at the table. He also gave us coffees with the order. There was a nice girl also working and she served us water at the table. I felt like I was being hosted at a kind family’s house! The atmosphere was great and it was quiet at the time that I went so I was able to unwind and just chill.
