I purchased a Fitbit for my father. I decided to have him pick it up in store since the shipping delays were over 10 days and the item was in stock at his local store. I made the purchase on Saturday. My dad went to the store on Sunday and was told that order was cancelled because there was no stock. Meanwhile, I didn't have a cancellation on my end. I tried phoning the store - don't bother, they don't pick up the phone ever. I managed to get a hold of support through live chat who advised me that the item was indeed in stock, there was even 2 of the items in stock. I was told I could go pick up the item right away. I live on the other side of the country so I asked if I could send my dad back to the store. Only then was I advised that I had to pick up the order since I placed the order... I've ordered from a variety of places over the years and never had any issues having a family member pick up orders with the proper documentation in hand of course.
We are reasonable people. Had I or my father been advised of the policy mandating that the person who placed the order HAD to also pick it up, we would have understood. Instead, you lied to a 70-year old man, that's just shameful. I ordered his new Fitbit from Best Buy and will never order anything from The Source even though I get preferential pricing through my employer. I'll happily pay more so I don't have to do business with The...
Read moreToday's experience left a very sour taste in my mouth. I went in to look for a new computer mouse, found what I was looking for, for 10.99$ went for it and I grabbed a few games on the side because why not. I picker out a ps4 game under a 20.99$ price tag, thinking it was a good deal. Only to end up at the cash register and being told that they shown prices were wrong all because they were moving things around. The mouse was now 40$ and even though they had a full row under the price they refused to do it a the shown price and instead offered the 10$ off. I refuse, and paid for the two games only to catch on the final cost. 189$ for a 79.99$ switch game and the 20$ game. It didn't add up. They then said. Ya no the game wasn't in the right spot. and offered me the same 10$ discount. This is ridiculous. All the wall displays are locked so it's not an other buyers fault who moved everything. It was the store who placed those products under those cost, regardless of the reason. The store was empty and with the four employees, they should have been going over their prices to make sure what was marked on displayed was the correct price. It felt wrong and cheap of them to not respect the shown price. Will never go back to them. The Source used to be a liable electronics company, that I frequented a lot. But now it's just better to go to walmart...
Read moreAfter purchasing a keyboard from nextech and realizing there isn't even an on off switch (so it just drains batteries unless you remove them every time). I tried bringing the unit back to a local store and they told me for any exchanges you need to call customer service so they authorize the exchange. After doing so, they said on the phone I must absolutely bring it back to the store where I bought it. After finally going back to the store I bought it they said they needed an email from head office authorizing it. At this point I had surpassed my 30days and they refused to take it back. The worst part is that competitors had a Logitech keyboard selling for 3$ more. Overpriced and the customer service is absolutely horrid.
My reply to the answer left by the source
After seeing the reply, I find it funny how you guys insist it is defective when it doesn't have an on off switch... I don't want another useless battery eating keyboard. It's your brand and clearly you aren't taking it seriously because nothing has been done to help me since day 1. You keep passing me around, making me waste time.calling, going to different stores rather than helping me. You basically rob customers and annoy them to the point that they just end up throwing it out instead of...
