La Perle on Saint-Jean DDO. Did not even get a chance to taste anything. I unrolled the napkin containing the cutlery to find dirty cutlery with a big piece of food stuck to the spoons. We asked for a different set, but they were all dirty, especially the spoons (had ordered a soup, so kind of cut my appetite), a waiter brought back the first set that he’d “cleaned” for us, they were still dirty and at that point the piece of food that had been stuck to the spoons was still there, but now in pieces in the napkin. The manager or head waiter was talking to our waiter in his language very aggressively, we had to ask our waiter many times what was being said. He finally told us he said “If they’re not happy they can leave.” So that’s what we did, but before we left they asked us to pay for the fountain soft drinks we had ordered, my husband refused, and told them the manager can pay for them. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented.
What truly set La Perle apart was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely enthusiastic about ensuring our dining experience was memorable.
The restaurant's attention to detail extended to its decor, creating an inviting atmosphere that made me feel like I was dining in a traditional Chinese eatery. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner for two or a family celebration, La Perle offers an ideal setting.

Every meal we ordered were fresh and tasty, except for my tom yum soup tasted more like tomato soup (far from tasting thai lemongrass but still good)
We were served by two waiters back to back, they don’t smile but very courteous and professional, they kept coming to our tables pretty often to clear our empty dishes and asked if everything was ok.
Only minuses, their plates were a bit on a pricier side. You can get the same quality food in Chinatown but for much less. but it is worth it, for the ambiance and also the waiters pay more attention to you than you’d get in other chinese restaurants. The restaurant has this classy chic vibe. also good service definitely worth it.
$15 vs $25 (exemple of a dish would cost elsewhere)
Location wise, they have quite of parking space (which I love)
I totally recommend you to try this restaurant at least once, you might want to go back. I am already...
