I usually don’t leave reviews but my dining experiences at Sarab left me quite disappointed and grossed out. I ordered a dish that had always been one of my favourites at this restaurant, expecting the usual delightful flavours. Unfortunately, my excitement turned into disgust when I discovered a strand of hair in my food. I found it in my food multiple times.
Upon arrival, the ambiance and service at Sarab were impressive as always. The staff was courteous and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. However, my enjoyment quickly faded when I noticed the unwelcome addition to my dish. Finding a hair in your food is always unpleasant, but it was particularly disappointing because I had always held Sarab in high regard for its cleanliness and attention to detail.
While accidents happen, and no restaurant is entirely immune to them, finding a hair in my food is a red flag that raises questions about Sarab's kitchen practices and quality control. As a loyal customer, I expected better attention to detail and measures to prevent such occurrences.
I hope Sarab takes this incident as an opportunity to reevaluate their kitchen practices and ensure that such incidents do not happen in the future. As much as I have enjoyed dining at Sarab in the past, I might hesitate before returning, considering the hygiene concern that arose from this...
Read moreI am very disappointed. I have been a huge Saran fan since Fairview food court. It has always been by go to place. When they opened on St Jean I wa so excited. I’ve ordered several times and picked up even more times. Today I ordered lunch and noticed a 5.00 delivery fee on my bill. I called and was told that they charge 1.00 per km since January. 1st of all when I google my address I’m only 3 km away and secondly , TELL ME about the charge. On top of the 5.00 I have to pay tax and give the driver a tip. My shish tabuk trio came to 25.00. I’m not impressed and it’s unfortunate cuz the food is always super fresh and delicious but I feel like I’ve been ripped off by these charges. And also charged for extra Kim’s which is really not cool at all I avoid Uber and door dash not on pay those fees. Oh well , there are many others in the neighborhood. Ask before you order for delivery and check the amount of pms that you live as they seem to have a different way of calculating from...
