We were a group of 4 for Saturday evening to enjoy an Eagles cover band. Our table was reserved for 7:30 and the show was to start at 8pm. It was our first time at this establishment. We arrived on time and were shown to our table. The venue was completely full. We met Wayne the owner at our table who stated that we would be in for a great evening. After walking away we waited over 15 minutes for a server to order our beer and another 15 to receive them. Luckily the band was late to arrive on stage. We ordered our food, 2 orders of chicken wings and 1 order of nachos. The band stepped up on stage and it was apparent that there was some issue with the sound. There was feedback with one of the member's acoustic guitar that had to be dealt with. Throughout the set, the "sound engineer" was fiddling around with the mix and ruined the show. The bass was so boomy and loud that it eclipsed the vocals. The guitars were not eq'd and when the lead guitarist played, we could only hear him faintly. The band musically were robbed of showing their true musicianship IMO due to awful sound management but it was evident they all are talented. The vocals are sweet and well harmonised albeit way too low in the mix. I felt for them as I have been in bands and know how a disaster sound wise can give a terrible impression. During all this, we had waited for our food well over 30 minutes. When it arrived, it was all cold and needless to say, biting down on cold nachos with hardened cheese and wings that are soft and not crispy was a real turn off. That order must have sat on the counter a long time. We left after the first set and felt robbed. The evening cost over 235$ with the ticket prices, beer with food. It is understandable that with such a large crowd, service diminishes; however, I must say that management needs to pick up their game and it is with this in mind that I honestly am reviewing that evening. Please use this as a constructive criticism so that some awareness on your part from a paying customer is revealed. I understand being overwhelmed and/or understaffed if indeed that is what happened so we will return in the near future to hopefully enjoy an evening with a positive experience. Jim Cuddy on May 24 would be great; however, with the owner mentioning at our table that it would be outside in a tent with over 1200 people is a pass due to last Saturday's experience.

First visit ever to this pub with a group of 10 to eat and see Low Rider in action. O M G !!! Low Rider is a complete gem in disguise! Ensure to go see them and thank me later! Nine people on stage, giving their all for the entire evening! VERY VERY talented band, lead by Mr Jeff, a great singer and entertainer. Iconic songs the entire evening, people dancing everywhere, singing along, atmosphere was electric! There were 3 formally trained and semi professionnal musicians in our group and they were all in awe of the evening's performance. A special nod to the sax player as well which was awesome at his trade! But all other members got a chance to showcase their talent at their own instruments and it was spectacular every time. Food was awesome and we were able to book a table ahead of time (including attendance to the show) which was a big plus. Service was a excellent but waiters are very busy. A bit of patience and everything flows smoothly. Back to Low Rider, i bet you never got so much out of your money as you will with these guys, trust me! They could have charged 50$ a head and we all still would have been more than happy. We will be back to this really cool pub for sure and to experience the outdoor terrace this summer as well. Hopefully, we get to attend a Low Rider show again in the near future!

Macallan's is quite impressive for an Irish 🍀 pub. The ambiance is great! They recently made things look more modern! It's spacious! The service is amazing, the bartenders look chic, charming and sophisticated. The crowd is older but super friendly. The food is excellent ! I highly recommend the burgers 🍔! Especially, the Jamaican jerk chicken burger! The burger! It's super tender and it has a kick to it with thst spicy 🌶 exotic flavor ! I think it's so smart of them to use pickled coslaw instead of regular! It gives the burger a twist ! I absolutely adore that they have events 🇷🇺🍟🍗👩‍🎤⚾️ and live bands ! 🎶

We had tickets to Jim cuddy fundraising concert last night. It was raining but we still had a great time listening, singing with him and enjoying the show. The set up separating VIP from general public was poorly done leaving very little space for general public to go in and out of the resteurant where we sat and ordered food and drink. A long table was blocking the entrance from one side and the baracade from the ither side. When I asked the organizer Pete if they can move the table so it is easier to go in and out he was very dismissive asking me why I'm going in and out anyways!! After Jim cuddy show ended we all went back inside to enjoy tragically hips tribute. We ordered our drinks. My friend went out to put our wet clothes in the car but when he came back the very rude, out of control door men were not letting him and others people back inside. I went to see why my friend was not back where I noticed there was a fight outside between the people outside with no coats or jacket in the rain, and the very rude door men. I pocked my head out to ask my friend what was happening but the door man pushed me out and said i can't get inside. I and the people around me tried to explain that I WAS inside but he was not listening. A 2 or 300 pound man was pushing me out the door. They were both insulting people and pushing them out. He never let me back inside to get our belonging..we had our beer, our cell phones, and bags inside..finally after 40 min. My friend was allowed to go inside and pick up our stuff and we left. We paid for our beer that we never got to drink. I thought that was hypocracy to invite Jim cuddy to perform to make money for a hospital and when the show is over treat propel like sheeps; leaving them out in the clod and rain with no jacket. I hope other people who were affected by this event leave more reviews here. These two men who were supposed to manage the numbers inside and out did a very poor job in managing and behaved in a very totalitarian manners to abuse their power and let their egos manage as opposed to their management. I will never go back to that place and I don't recommand it to anybody. We go to other bars in west island and vaudreuil and we never experience anything but respect every single time with the staff and management. I give a zero for rating...

There is an older women with grey hair who works there. She is beyond rude. Mean. Every time my friend and I go there, we are baffled by her horrendous attitude. I don't get it because we are quiet, clean, polite and always tip well. We had a male waiter this time and he was okay. He forgot my friend's fries but it happens. She came to pick up our plates when we were done and I politely asked her for the bills to which she practically yelled with attitude "I'm not your waitresses!!!" I looked at her jaw opened and in disbelief. If I were the owner, I'd get rid of her. I'm sure she drives tons of customers away. To top things off, the menu online has different prices than what we were charged. I asked the waiter, and he brought the mean lady and she proceeded to give a hard time. She literally waved the menu at us, which was liquid papered with new prices. I told her we never even saw the menu. We came in knowing what we wanted to eat and drink. We will never be going back there. This place isn't going to survive long. Every time we go, that lady ignores us. We have to always get up and wait for her to address us at the bar when she feels like acknowledging us. It's as if she hates younger women, ethnic women, or whatever. Maybe she just hates her job, or maybe nobody supervises the bully. If this place wants to survive, they need to learn about service and update their prices online and make some new menus. They need better staff. Even when the place is empty, servive is horrendous. FYI, my Cesar salad, which was the size of an appetizer, no chicken, or anything special, was 19$. Lame. Go to the Manoir or anywhere else. This place is depressing and a dump with the...
