Coop's Holland Landing — Restaurant in East Gwillimbury

Just moved into the area and stumbled across this gem of a place. The staff is insanely friendly..... I came in one time and Isabelle not only remembered my drink but also my name. As a resturuant owner and someone who is been in the industry for 20 plus years its these little touches that go above and beyond. Catherine (the owner) is super nice as well. The food is as good of pub food as you can ask for... ive tried the wings, veal parm, club sandwhich but the Greek salad is mine and my pregnant wife's favorite meal when we want lighter eating. I haven't gotten to spend much time in here having drinks as I would like yet but every time ive been in the customer's are all super friendly and it just generally has a good vibe. Some local spots the regulars can come across as a bit of "gatekeepers" or make it feel slightly unwelcomed until they know you but I have gotten none of that vibe from here so far. The hidden gem of hidden gems. Don’t have enough superlatives for coops. The food is so damn tasty. This place punches above its weight in terms of how good the food is relative to how famous it is. I have avoided posting this review until now because I didn’t wanna share it with others and blow up a really precious spot, but I’m moving away and won’t be able to visit as much so it’s time to give back. I went here for a late dinner with my parents, ordering a two pounds of wings and the buffalo mac n cheese. The food was excellent, with good quality chicken used for the wings and appropriately cheesy pasta! The service was amazing, as the server/barkeep was very attentive and prompt throughout the meal and very friendly. The whole place has very good vibes (we happened to be there on a slow night) and was comfortable to hangout in for our meal. We intend to come here many more times...
