Don't order the food here. Don't order drinks unless it's in a bottle. No debit or credit machine ATM/CASH ONLY. Rude staff. Will up charge you on drinks when they start running out of beers And only tell you once you get your bill. Whole places are ripoff scheme. Multiple health and safety violations. (Speaking as a Chef myself I can see them and will be reporting them)

Only redeeming quality is the live music and bands but IF YOU PLAY HERE WATCH OUT!! But if you do come for a show watch out for the way that they run this business. I know I'll never be back Wished it was a better experience but was shown a bad one right outta the gate. Also no draft/Fountain drinks just 2L pop bottles. Glasses are gross. Not clean especially around the bar. Lose money around open bottles. Also super unprofessional staff I’ve seen better service And hospitality at the hope mission.

I’m sure for the usual crowd it’s nothing new but if your a new customer just go for the band and leave also don’t let them up charge you or your group like they tryed too do too my friends and band members I knew. Also door man is a big mouth idiot with 0 professionalism.

Was rude to my wife, My sister and her husband, rude to my young daughter and was also rude to my son and his friends also charge them $10 when the cover fee was only 5 super scummy move. The guy probably pocketed the money that he made extra and didn’t tell his manager only thing that makes sense too me. If I were the owner I’d fire him asap n find some young guy too do a better job and not rob patrons. I haven’t seen something this bad since the 90s.

2 beers and a night out cost me 60$ worth of cover fees then beer was up charged and not the same price it stated on the menu being 8.50 for my first and 10.50 for my second and what would have been a 20-30$ night turned into 80+ because of the scummy business practices. Needless too say once I payed and found out the original cover price was 5 not 10 I was refused my money back and was given the same bad attitude. We left as soon as the band was done and nobody felt like ordering anything from here after being harassed and watching me and my family get taken advantage off.

Save your time, money and energy and go somewhere else when your favourite local band plays. But hey you might have a different experience then literally everyone else in that building the...

Came here to watch a local band, wow. The band was amazing but the service?? First impression of the bar was ok, sat down and only ordered water which seemed to confuse the waitress, 2 of my family members joined us about 30 minutes later but still before the band went on, not a single one of us had been told or asked about any cover fee that would be charged due to a local band. After about another 45 minutes the band had went on, this is where the issues really started. Some bouncer guy started walking around DEMANDING that you pay a $10 cover for the band out of no where. I have no issues paying a $10 cover but it was not posted ANYWHERE, not in the bar, not on their website, not Facebook nowhere was it indicated that there was going to be a cover let alone that we were WITH the band? The rest of our friends came, we were a pretty large party, he kept asking us to pay and then would just leave. At one point he came with security where he told us to pay, I handed him a $20 bill for my partner and I and as I did the security guy jumped in saying we were with the band. This guy replies "okay $5 for family, so it will be $5 for him and $10 for you because its FAMILY only." My partner's sister had to jump in for me and tell him this party WAS family to which he gave me a dirty look and said " unfortunately it's wives only." Who even says that??? I have never been so embarrassed or felt so insulted. It would've been nice to know this place was cash only. What a joke came here to watch a band and instead the bouncer basically RUINED our night. Kept harassing us and just being so rude, place felt sketchy and I didn't even want to order food here, just does not seem up to standards when compared to any other bars in Edmonton. Never coming back here do not recommend this place. Found out later on the cover fee was supposed to be $5 but he was charging us $10 because we a large party of over 8 people. We all wanted to leave here due to his attitude but stayed as we we're supporting our local band. We finally had enough and ended up leaving the bar feeling angry and insulted, guy would have rather been rude than keeping us there and having more business than making an extra $5 off of...

I hadn't been to Bunkers in a long while and as I didn't write a review for bunkers yet, I figured now is a good a time as any.

Happy Hour was over at 7pm, so I ended up ordering their Tuesday special, which is supposed to be $8.99 for two tacos and a beverage. I wanted to go with a pint of domestic beer but for some odd reason, that would push the price to $10.20, so I went with a domestic bottle of beer. My bill came to $9.70 before tax, so so much for the special. The specials on their menu board are extremely misleading as there is no special at all, simply 2 tacos for $4.45 and 1 domestic bottle for $5.25. So again no special at all, just some weird guideline with a moveable price going up.

The cook was pleasant as he brought out the order, but the tacos were room temperature. The cook was kind to bring two side orders of hot sauce which we were not billed for, although I thought I heard the bartender make some disapproving noise towards the cook as he brought the hot sauces to the table. I am guessing he was supposed to charge for those.

The service was fine, but the specials on the board were simply a decorative guideline, but not an actual price guide. Also there weren't any actual servers, just the bartender and the cook.

Bunkers was much better back in the day(back in the late 2000s) as there were much better prices, more accurate prices, better food, and more patrons.

From the lack of actual prices, the deceptive menu board, and the room temperature tacos, I doubt I will be back. Their competition Playback Pub is just across the street with much lower and more accurate prices, way better food, happy hour until 8pm, and a more pleasant...
