Pizza Depot — Restaurant in Edmonton

Honestly convinced that all these reviews are fake after trying the pizza here recently. Dont be fooled by their high rating like I was. Starting with my arrival...an employee was standing outside the doors so close you couldnt even open the door to get in. And then proceeded to just glare at me when I politely said "Excuse me" and literally squeezed by to get in. Felt like a bouncer trying make it difficult to get by. Was very weird and rude. I arrived about 5mins early so my pizza wasnt quite done yet. I paid (regretfully even tipped) and took one of the seats by the door, where I sat for at least another 20mins. My pizza sat waiting for someone to cut and box it, while i watched other people come and go with their orders. Finally get my pizza...I again need to squeeze by their employee outside as I can barely even open the door.

Now for the pizza.... I managed to get 4 pieces of an XL Hawaiian down before i just couldnt do it anymore. Gave it an honest chance. It was soooo bland and flavorless that hot sauce or dip couldnt even save it. Dough like cardboard. Sauce practically non existent except a paper thin amount at the crust edge. Ham as thin as prosciutto. Maybe two whole pieces of pineapple per slice, if that. Even the extra cheese I got was gross. I ended up tossing the remaining 2/3rds of the pizza. Usually even bad pizza is at least edible...this was worse than bad. I think its the only pizza ive tossed actually and I hate wasting food. Frozen grocery store pizza would have been more edible. Ive had pizza undercooked and half dough from places and was still better than this.

Seriously just save yourself the disappointment and go...

I’ll start by saying YES! YES! YES! I never do the ordering but we wanted to try somewhere new. So I got online and the website made it so easy! I placed the order with zero issues. Within minutes I got a call to confirm and was told 45mins for delivery. Exactly 45mins and they were at the door. We had the absolute pleasure of meeting Dave. Dave, you have the right attitude! So polite, so pleasant and extremely personable. He greeted me by name and shook my husband’s hand, all with a huge smile. Without even trying the food we were sold! Let’s talk about the food…. We ordered a variety. 3 different pizzas both creamy garlic sauce and the standard marinara, 2 different wings, garlic bread and dipping sauces. Every single thing was DELICIOUS. The pizza is not greasy at all and packed with toppings and cheese. The wings are cooked perfectly and have just enough sauce to make it flavourful but not overwhelming. The cheesy garlic bread was so tasty! First impressions are everything and Dave you absolutely nailed it! We found our new pizza place in the neighborhood! If you haven’t tried it yet, we highly...

Me and my dad recently visited pizza depot and it was an outstanding experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and eager to help, making the whole visit even more enjoyable. The pizzas here are absolutely delicious, with a variety of options that cater to every taste and preference. It’s clear why they’re considered one of the best pizza places in town! On top of that, the entire place is spotless, and they clearly take great pride in maintaining a high level of cleanliness. Highly recommend the pizza depot, if you’re looking for exceptional pizza and fantastic service! Big shout out to Dev for suggesting us the achari chaap and tandoori chaap pizza, they taste absolutely delicious. Thank you for your incredible service and hospitality.
