The Tandoor — Restaurant in The Meadows

I’ve always craved that their name is The Tandoor so it must be something special like Tandoori Dishes in their menu so tried their Tandoori chicken tonight.

First of all, the food was totally terrible. The reason behind this is that I had to drive only 5 minutes back home and by the time I got home, the Tandoori Chicken was Ice cold and hard. What I assumed is that they served me pre cooked chicken.

Secondly, service is even worse.

I ordered the tandoori chicken at 1820hrs atehich they asked me to wait for 25 minutes till my food is ready. In addition, I asked if they want more time to prepare such complex recipe they can tell me but I do not want to wait when I come. However, I went their 30 minutes Fter the order at 1850hrs but they still was confirming what my order was and whether its ready.

Thirdly, the customer service was terrible, cause the girl serving just thrown the chicken bad on my face and that too when she was already talking on a call. Really terrible service….

I hope they would understand that this is not their...

I ordered one chicken noodles which I was expecting to be really yummy with veggies soyasauce and so much flavors added to it. It was late night as i can count it to b around 10 p.m . I was so hungry and badly craving to eat them after long hours of work. As I opened the box I was shocked to c . It looked so much disgusting 😪 but I was so hungry that I'm like I've to eat something. Yukkkyyy.....OMG it was more towards like spaghetti ND not chowmin. I called them right away and made a complaint, rather offering me to come and get another one ,lasy told me she will take care next time. I was really disappointed as I had paid full amount . My husband completely forgot abt last incident and so yesterday ordered full Tandoori chicken, .It happened again, too much disgusting . We called again last night but lady again said will take care next time. Iwish I could give them 0 star.worst food I ever ate in Edmonton and will never recommend. Unless some one have so much money and want to try...

Most worst restaurant in Edmonton I swear I been there for dinner. firstly, they took 50 mins to serve the food at the time of placing order I have already told them that keep medium spicy butter chicken and shahi paneer I know butter chicken is not too spicy but also not sweet like Ras malai same with shahi paneer I know shahi paneer also sweet but they gave totally sweet and I call their employee I offered her to taste she said I am pure vegetarian and I respect her .Secondly, when she came second time with food sweetness was same but they put more salt which was raw in taste OMG at that time i realised that i wasted mine and my family’s time. I know i should not use wrong word for food but trust me their food was literally too bad. Never visit there if you are visiting for dinner because everybody has less time next day everyone has to go work.
