I just spent nearly $48 and walked away with absolutely nothing worth that price. I had been out of town for 3 months and was genuinely looking forward to the familiar taste I used to enjoy at Prime Time Windermere. Unfortunately, I discovered that location is permanently closed, so I decided to try this one assuming the quality would be the same. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t.
I ordered a large classic beef donair with extra cheese and sauce—both of which were missing. Also paid for extra cheese on my poutine, and that too was nowhere to be found. So, where exactly did my “extras” go?
The staff, particularly a short-heighted female at the counter working there early this week, seemed visibly confused and overwhelmed just trying to take my order. I had to spell out everything step-by-step, and yet, the order was wrong.
And please—why is your phone line always disconnected? Tried calling multiple times, but it’s always the same issue. For a business that charges premium prices, this kind of service and communication is just not it. PS: I AM AND UNBOTHERED GUY NEVER LEAVE REVIEW TO ANYONE BUT THIS TIME IDID IT.
Do better, and hire someone who knows how to communicate properly. Update: already emailed you the details yet didn’t got and follow up for that. Update:23 June no one responded to my email from prime time. Update: 11 july : you guys are ruining the prime time flavour, how can bold bbq be burnt , ordered poutine fries was super frozen, beef was so big chunky, again please can you guys hire someone who know how to cook. This time i met a guy who was continuously busy doing other stuff, on call constantly. Gotta say will never come back after this...
Read moreOrdered a game changer and got just the prime time classic, does this even make sense, even after being a customer i know the difference why can’t you guys. Washroom was really messed up too. No hygiene was followed while cooking my order as i was continuously watching her while cooking which was very difficult for me as you guys don’t have open kitchen concept she literally picked some of the fries from the floor like how can someone be so disrespectful for others food. It is so hard to have a conversation with her,i even confronted her that’s not appropriate she acted like unaware about it, and what kinda gloves she was wearing i don’t know, ideally you should change gloves after the order but she was using same for everything. I will suggest go to basha donair , hygiene, food quality and quantity...
Read moreWe dined at PrimeTime Donair & Poutine (2039 163 St SW, Edmonton) on March 26th around 5:00 PM, and unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. The staff was polite, and the food came quickly, but the quality was nowhere near what we expect from PrimeTime.
The donair meat was not hot, just slightly warm, and it was hard, old, and stale—clearly not fresh, just reheated. We spent $45 on this meal, expecting a treat for our family, but with how expensive everything is these days, it felt like a complete waste. We usually go to the Windermere location, which was closed, and assumed this one would be just as good. Sadly, it was not.
We love PrimeTime, but after this experience, we won’t be returning to...
