Subway — Restaurant in Edmonton

This morning, my friend and I visited a Subway location, and unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. The staff member who was preparing our order was rude. We ordered one steak bowl and one veggie sub. After she prepared the steak bowl, she began working on my veggie sandwich. I politely asked her if she could please change her gloves, as I am a vegetarian. She responded, "You should have told me before."

I was quite shocked by her attitude—where are the basic standards of customer service? How can someone use the same gloves for handling meat and then a vegetarian order? That’s completely unacceptable and shows a lack of consideration for dietary preferences and cross-contamination concerns.

I will not be visiting this Subway location again, and I would not recommend...

The lady serving placed a small layer of meat on a sandwich we ordered. This sandwich is our go to at almost any subway, and the layer of meat is usually thick (hence why we like it). In any other subway we go to, this thick layer is a given. At this particular location, we only received a very thin layer of meat. My sister asked for the proper serving, and the lady doubled the layer (which was still thinner than most other subways). But than charged us extra for "extra meat". We also got two bottled drinks. It wasn't till I got home and prepared to eat that I realized my drink had been previously opened and possibly drank from. The sandwich itself also just wasn't that good. I’m not racist so don’t even start! When I walked in to order they have a guy who can’t speak English and he is by himself…I wanted the chicken ranch sub which everyone knows what that is they call it the chicken rancher now…but he said we don’t have we have turkey then pulled out bread and said this bread…I said no white he said something and I couldn’t understand hi at all..,I told him I can’t understand u he just pulled out the bread he chose!
