I know it's a subway, and they're big time corporate. However, this is the slowest subway I have ever been to. And I've probably been to ten in the Edmonton area over the years.
They had one old lady in the store doing service at about 4pm. She took, and I timed it, seven minutes to do 2 subs. She had no sense of urgency. And then, she had to take payment. I pulled up a chair and sat in the lineup. I know I looked like an A-hole. I then turned around and left. By my calculations, by the time the four people in front of me ordered and paid for a sub, I was already eating food at another fast food joint down the street.
I feel bad that an old lady like her had to work at a fast food restaurant. But the fact that one employee was left by herself to deal with customers, just says penny-pinching to me.

As the young lady was helping him, we noticed her rolling her eyes at him when he asked for his chicken to be heated separately. She continued with a very bad attitude. My wife and I ordered our subs. I asked for spinach, she placed 4 leaves on my sub. I asked for more spinach, she placed another 4 leaves on the sub. I asked for more spinach, she shook her head at me and let out a huff. She continued with a bad attitude. We went to pay for the subs and handed her our coupon. She said that she can't take it. And gave us a dirty look. She huffed again, at that point, I had enough of her attitude, and we left. I hate the fact that the food was wasted. I will never go back to this...

I ordered a veggie patty sub for pickup, drove 20 minutes home, and when I opened the bagâno veggie patty. Tried calling the store three times, no answer. Had to drive all the way back just to be told, âWe didnât have veggie patty so we added extra cheese.â
Seriously? Thatâs not a replacement. They should have told me when I picked up the order instead of letting me waste my time and gas. When I suggested they disable out-of-stock items, the employee said sheâs already told the owner multiple times but he still hasnât done anything. At the end of the day, the customer is the one who suffers. Absolutely...
